Daryn Colledge is the best "value" LT available and I'd love the Chargers to take him at #29 and use the #35 on the best available ILB or CB.
Disagree. Those who know more than myself on the subject say he's falling in the draft but even if he wasn't he's a sub-300# T from a smaller school. I'm not even sure he'll play T in the NFL, plenty of people are projecting him as a gaurd. I'd rather come out of the first round with a quality starting CB than G.
Are you sure you're thinking of the same guy - I haven't heard anything him being a guard.
No, I think we're talking about the same guy. I think both of us are just focusing on different things in his evaluations. From your link;"Colledge is a "Tweener." He is shorter and lighter than ideal for a tackle, but has the feet and athleticism that are ideal to protect the corner from speed rushers. His size is perfect for a guard, but he blocks up high and lacks the playing strength to handle defensive tackles. He has very bad technique (footwork, blocking position and hand use) and it causes his production to be much worse than his talent level."
I've also read that some have doubts as to how much his frame will be able to add in regards to weight. In this thread...

... Woods mentions he got overpowered at the Senior Bowl which bodes poorly for a player from Boise St that probably doesn't have a whole lot of season game film playing against top notch competition.
I do give you props for providing links though. I'm not saying he's awful, just that it seems he's more likely to be a backup OT or starting OG in the NFL based on what I've read including some of the links you've provided.
