**Monday Night Football - Eagles 6-2 at Packers 5-2-1**(-1, 46) 8:15 (3 Viewers)

Terrible. They're poorly coached and not that good.

Seattle and LA are going to kick each of their asses.
Eagles have wins over Tampa, LAR, KC, GB, and Denver.....so.....poorly coached and not that good can't be true,

That said, every Eagles fan frustrated with the offensive play calling. bizarre decisions, no motion, no PA, predictable. Not really bad, but feels like they are under-performing on that side of the ball

Gonna leave this here.

The Seattle Seahawks rank 32nd in dropbacks. Only 11.4% of offensive plays have come while trailing, by far the league's lowest rate.Is this the best team in the NFL?

To make matters worse, they win like this, so they will learn absolutely nothing from it.

As of right now? Yes. After next week? Maybe not.

Yup definitely not feeling like 2023 but also not feeling like 2024. This team has flaws.

See, we always say stuff like this, and then the Jets will sell everything & still beat the Browns. Weird stuff happens week to week.

I honestly have no idea who SEA & LAR would beat. I kind think I do, but if they both got waxed by PHI & GB I won’t be at all surprised.
GB is not on the level of Seattle or the Rams right now. Not close, really. Philly, Sea, LAR and Detroit are the class of the NFC right now.

I gotcha. I tend to agree but KC stinks, IMO, and GB is curious as heck. Denver has Nix. I mean, geez. You guys lost to Denver, bro. The Rams imploded. That was a bit lucky. Look, the Eagles have what seems to me the most talent in the NFL. It's wildly mismanaged, in my estimation. I think we could crowdsource our board for generalized EV situation calls (I'm not designing 4 routes for receivers without them slamming into each other) but give us schematics and we'd do better than that.

they lost to denver. LOL.

Eagles won but LOL.. I'm sure AJ Brown will be happy with his 3 targets today.. What are they thinking.
The Eagles are showing that they do not need to feature Brown regularly to win. I know it sucks for Brown, who cares about stats more than winning, and FF owners who have him, but the Eagles number one concern is winning, which they continue to do. No style points in the NFL. Winning is winning.

Two teams going nowhere (and fast).
Well, except the playoffs.

Playoffs are games that come at the end of the season where teams with the best records play against each other.
Pack go 4-4 rest of the way. We'll see if 9-7-1 gets them in.
I think they're likely to get in, but neither one of those teams look like advancers.

Both need a huge dose of offense (and it doesn't look like a possibility).

They won't beat teams that can score though.. Starts next week. They won't be able to keep up with the Lions playing the sorry stupid offense they play..

What bizarre decision making at the end there, first by the Eagles to not pin GB deep with almost no time left, then poor McManus being trotted out there. What the Heck was the convo before that drive.

“How far you got in that injured leg?”
“Dunno coach, 50? Maybe 55?”
“How about a career long and Lambeau Field Record in freezing temps and a crosswind?”
“Umm… that seems unlikely”
“Good luck. No wait, Love - throw a ball into the stands! Okay! Now back in you go McManus - good luck!”

On paper, sure. When the game comes that all goes out the window. There’s certainly enough talent on both sides of the ball for both GB & PHI to beat SEA, LAR, DET, or any other NFC team.

Yeah, and the Raiders could have won but Barrett Roberts put himself into a blender of a bender. What if he ditches right before a playoff game or runs routes like he has been? Have you seen him jog his routes?

I have no shares of him nor a stake. Divesting years ago because he weird. Like real weird and thought he'd break down and be irrelevant on the Iggles.

But if he bricks, that spreads like wildfire, and I'm not sure he won't if they all take your kind of attitude towards him. Heh.

They are 24-5 since the start of last season. The Rams can score, we agree on that, right? And when the Eagles needed to score more to beat them earlier this season, they came back and did so and won. Tonight wasn't pretty, but they got the job done.

Well, sure, in the NFL, anyone can beat anyone on any given Sunday (or Monday, etc.).

you encapsulated the intelligence shown on the sidelines in a quick two sentences and a dialogue snippet.

That was about the decision-making. I never thought I'd see someone worse than Sirianni and there's Lafleur, he of the 4 pt. field goal with 3:20 left in the NFCCG just eager as pie to outdo Nick.

Barrett Robbins had bipolar disorder and depression. He went off his meds and had a major episode - went to TJ and on a bender, correct. But it wasn’t because he was disgruntled.

I don’t see AJB crashing out like that, nor do I see his situation as a comp for Robbins. Dude is an alpha WR who’s barely used. Eagles could be winning games comfortably if they’d make it a priority to open the offense, but they do this dink and dunk stuff & ignore Smith & ABJ for long stretches.

Disinterest is probably the most likely repercussion, but easily avoided if they show some love. Trust that the Philly sports media ecosystem will be all over it. Eagles will feel the pressure & grease the squeaky wheel.

It's like this is people's first viewing of Philly. They win the turnover battle, play conservative on offense and do just enough to win games. It very rarely looks pretty.

I know what Barrett had. I used to love the Raiders. Uh, my point wasn't going on a bender and ditching. It was how one guy can torpedo a team if actively disgruntled. Remember hearing about the Barkley car conversation that took hours after practice? We heard about it for days.

Rating: Yikes

Brown appears to be a shell of the player we have known during a legitimately elite five-year run. The player who was No. 1 in success rate vs. man coverage
last year with a 97th percentile score, currently sits at 45.8%. That’s outrageous. Of course, I don’t know what to attribute this to but

we have to be honest about what we’re seeing. Let the rest of the world deal in narratives. Maybe he’s disengaged with the team right now.
Really, I’m hoping this is just a down stretch, as it’s far too early for the 28-year-old to be in some form of this steep decline. Then again, you know how
I feel about the lack of rules around age cliffs and curves and this is unfortunately a player who has dealt with and
played through tons of lower-body injuries throughout his career. Let’s hope this turns around quickly but forget the stat sheet;
we need to see something different from Brown in isolation. And we need to see it very soon.

I understood your point, but still a strange comp considering the circumstances of Robbins.

Anyway, as a long time AJB shareholder I can say with certainty that this is a dance they keep going through. Cyclical. He gets ignored, Eagles suddenly remember to air it out, AJB Is placated for a few weeks. Then they ignore him again.

I don’t wanna give Siriani too much credit, but maybe they only open things up in the playoffs to lull opponents into a false sense of security that they can’t throw downfield?

Ps - it also helped that Gruden was coaching against last team that his asst coach took over, and TB had their playbook. I remember Warren Sapp in an interview saying the TB defense was calling OAK’s offensive plays all game. Just a brutal fateful matchup for the Raiders.

Even more ironic that it was the team Dungy built and Gruden got all the credit at the time.
