**Monday Night Football - Panthers at Niners**(-7.5, 49.5) 8:15 (1 Viewer)

When I saw the 49.5 tonight, my immediate reaction was take the UNDER
For folks that bet the lines and point totals, you know that inner trigger/voice when you see a number and just think that can't be right
I don't see fireworks but I'll wait to hear what @travdogg thinks tonight
He had a bold projection on the Rams-Bucs last night and pretty much nailed it

Such an opportunity for Young tonight in primetime to show what he's learned over the last couple seasons, he's better than he was when he first entered the league

Yeah, San Fran won't cover 49.5. they'll likely stop at 49.

I think this is gonna be an interesting game. Carolina did beat Green Bay earlier this year, but this feels like a game that could potentially be the "take us seriously" game. Robert Saleh is doing a fine job with what is basically the preseason 2nd team defense, but its a good matchup for Carolina. Tetairoa McMillan and to a lesser extent Jalen Coker (Cokeheads unite!) should be open quite a bit, as they primarily face middling 2nd year CB Renardo Green and awful slot rookie CB Upton Stout (111th out of 113 in PFF coverage grade at CB) 49ers front 7 is smaller, and could be pushed around a bit by Carolina's OL. I think Rico Dowdle has a top-10 week this week. He was a toe away from one last week.

For the 49ers, the Panthers starting LBs this week have combined for 101 snaps this season, they are 4th and 5th string guys. This sets up nicely for George Kittle, and unbelievably well for CMC. I don't think CMC will quite hit what Gibbs did, but he could very well be RB2 overall this week. Panthers also don't have much of a pass rush, so I think we could see some downfield shots to Ricky Pearsall this week, after he was mostly a decoy last week.

I think matchup wise this should be a higher scoring game, with the caveat of what will Bryce Young look like in primetime? Personally, I hate projecting things like that and prefer to stick to matchups.

Very interesting game
Niners battling in the tough NFC West
Panthers in play for division title
Carolina in a rare Prime Time Game
How will they react?
Will they come out tight with a deer in the headlights look?
Or will they play like a bunch of crazed dogs?
I want to see a good game so I'll say crazed dogs
And say they cover...

Niners- 30

Panthers- 27

Took me a second, 49-0 is your prediction tonight?

Nice post

-I think folks might be sleeping on a guy that due to injury just hasn't gotten on track but is about to lead the Niners thru the home stretch pushing for a Playoff spot
I'm obviously talking about Brock Purdy, I found him on waivers in a few leagues recently, Burrow as well, next year I am not even drafting a QB, just pick one up off waivers, need the roster space for all those flyers we come up with at RB and WR

You read it hear first…a MNF rover & over

I think this one turns out to be a close game with the winning team winning on the last posssession.

Tet goes off
CMC and Kittle Eat
Dowdle gets back on track, not the 200 yard version, but not the 5.5. PPR version we've seen the last 2 weeks either. Gonna say he gets a TD.

Bryce ends up throwing a killer INT at some point

Niners win on final possession

33-29

I'm setting the o/u on Cmac FF pts at 38 for tonite.

Would love that, BNB.

9'ers bring the Panthers back to reality with an absolute curb-stomping, under the Bay City Monday Night Lights.

CMC and the 9'ers Defense feed off each other en route to an epic record-setting performance...

...because that's what I need across 4 High-Stakes entries, to make the Post-Season.

glll, peas, to all, and to all a good night.

Most of my best picks were made during the QB runs. I won't draft one until at least the 10th round.

Panthers gonna need a response after that one.

That was kinda what I expect all night, not much defense, but slower drives, keeping the scores under 30.
