More Faux Outrage? (Seinfeld this time) (1 Viewer)

It's a sad fact of modern "journalism" that all a writer needs to do nowadays is search Twitter, Reddit, Facebook, or any blog for one idiot saying something, then they can write an article that goes "Twitter says...." or "People on the internet are saying..." and then, there ya go, you got your ten thousand words. No reliable sourcing, doesn't matter the stature of the person making the original claim. Some idiot spouts something moronic and it gets treated with the same level of importance as the Pope.

Remember when Seinfeld dated a high school girl and everyone just kind of shrugged their shoulders?
I was wracking my brain trying to remember that episode.  Did a search and discovered you were referring to real life. Shrugged their shoulders indeed. I don’t even recall hearing of the story, though I do recall her name. He met her in Central Park when she was a 17-year-old high school senior and he was 38. They dated for the next four years.

I don't know about any outrage, but after watching "The Good Samaritan" a few nights ago, my family has taken to responding to each other's sneezes with, "You are soooo good looking."

The real test is to do that in public with people you don't know.  You find out real fast if they are a Seinfeld fan or not.  It's a great ice breaker if its the right type person or you get thrown in jail for being a creep if it's the wrong type person.......It's always fun to see which way it goes...haha
