Of course not.  However, there is enough of a fanatic minority in Islam to make their actions a threat to just about everyone in areas that believe in things like freedom and that women are more than property, etc.

 
Hillary on O'Riley now, talking about needing strong diplomacy to be prepared and work with allies.

 
I think this is largely based on the demo of this forum, but you all are way too invested in what happens on the cable news shows.  Most Many people I know do not even have cable let alone watch cable news regularly.

Opinion shows are obviously slanted, but Fox consistently beats the other networks on news.

I am.  We are at the point where the genie is out of the bottle and Obama is simply trying to save face.  He helped create the conditions that allowed ISIS to ferment and then flourish.

We are not being attacked by a highly coordinated military operation, we are being attacked by an idea.  A dude rammed a truck into a crowd and started shooting.  That is just way too easy.  Its going to get real ugly very soon, just wait until the right wingers are in charge....its going to be pretty brutal.

You are not contesting quotes and stats in that article.  You are stating your simple minded narrative about Obama and ISIS.   

On a higher level the same things that gave rise to Al Qaeda are the same things that gave rise to ISIS.  Obama sacrificing more US soldiers and more military campaigns will not fix the systemic issues there.

I tend to agree. We can't wipe them out militarily, we can't integrate them into modern society, that leaves what exactly?
