Oct 4 Pete Dougherty, of the Green Bay Press-Gazette, reports Green Bay Packers RB Vernand Morency (knee) remains off the team's injury report for Week 5 and took part in practice Thursday, Oct. 4. He is expected to play during Week 5 and may be available for an increased workload.

IMO I think he needs another week or 2 ...but its good to hear he is off the report.

He's had another week or two for well over a month now...time to get on with it.

Sit tight if you can... the running schedule gets a bit rough for now, then right as teams just flatly key in on the passing (Chicago can't given their woes getting worse), it'll open up the running game down the stretch, esp during the winter months, and as Favre gets nicked.
