Neutral. Moss seems safe. Brady, while not exactly right there at the top of the value charts early in the 2nd, should provide safe near-the-top of his position numbers. You'll need to find value at RB, but that's doable. I don't think it's a recipe for instant success, but I don't think it's a disaster, either. And if you love NE, it's a way to go.
High risk, high reward. Just crazy enough to work. It will basically come down to Brady's health. I like Schaub - Andre even better though at the spot you can get Shaub. Then you can go RB in the first.
I have won three titles in my main league and Moss was the common denominator on each team. With almost every team using a RBBC it is much safer not to make picks like this than ten years ago. Now you can scoop RBs that will get you points in the 3-4-5-6 rounds.
A guy in my redraft league of 12 teams pulled this move off from the 4 spot this past weekend. I happen to like the move as I think Moss is in line for another historically big season and Brady will of course benefit from that.
It won some championships last year, especially Brady going for 260/4 and Moss getting 3 of those td's. And I think we should put less weight on the "out east" or snow factor. In the snowstorm last year against Tennessee, Brady had 6 td's until he was pulled. I would worry more about a Manning getting benched during championship week instead of Brady throwing in the snow.
Exactly. I took Moss in the first last year and Brady in the third, and they were just fine. Brian Westbrook in the 2nd round is what killed me. Granted, I still finished 3rd in both total points and the money, but had my second round pick been better, I could have won it all.
