Yup. I found those glow stick bracelets for $1 for 20 or 25. So we bought a bunch of those and then let each kid choose a piece of candy and a bracelet. Some houses are going to non-traditional treats because of food allergies and such. So, if your kid got something other than candy, this may be why. Also, some of you may have seen houses with teal colored pumpkins, this tells parents that those houses are giving out safe treats for all kids and not peanut treats or anything like that. I found out about this to late but might do it next year.
My youngest daughter came home with a rolled up piece of paper. Apparently a woman was giving out hand drawn cat art. It was an 8x11 sheet of paper blocked out like a comic book with 6 cat drawings in various outfits. I'll have to take a picture of it and post it, extremely weird. If she was trolling it's pretty funny, if not![]()
I'd love to see a picture!are those your hands shukehan you should think about getting in to hand modeling take that to the bank for realMy daughter got a Chick tract and a snake (not from the same house).

There are only 5 cat drawings in various outfits.
guess she thought we couldn't handle a 6th, went wide with the fishing cat, wanted to get a little more background in thereThere are only 5 cat drawings in various outfits.
so did each kid get their own original or was it just copied multiple times? The whole thing is hysterical, albeit a bit nutty.guess she thought we couldn't handle a 6th, went wide with the fishing cat, wanted to get a little more background in there![]()
Her friend received a totally different drawing so there were at least a couple different options. It doesn't seem like a copy, I'm not 100% sure though. One of my older daughters took them out so the details are fuzzy.so did each kid get their own original or was it just copied multiple times? The whole thing is hysterical, albeit a bit nutty.
After reviewing the evidence, I'm not sure that artistic talent was required. That doesn't sound like me at all.*
I'd trade two (2) full-sized Reese's for that snek @shuke's kid got.
*Because I have no artistic talent.
If I got any of those when I was a kid I'd unfold them and spend the money on candy.I always thought it would be cool to give out stuff like this.

I gave out handfuls of soup bouillon cubes one year in high school. They look just like candy with their shiny foil wrappers. Could hardly contain myself when a girl in one of my classes complained about some ####### in the neighborhood who tricked her little brother into eating a soup cube.
The story would have ended better if the cat used the candy bar as bait.

Update. Took the ear buds into work (20 person office) and all were gone within 10 seconds of telling the story and offering them up).Ages 3 & 5...each got 3 pairs of ear buds from the same house.
Yes, I am. I live in the upstate of South Carolina. I'm kinda surprised she only got one.Are you serious?!
Just reason number 1,000 why dentist are the worst.Dental floss, like the size you get free from the dentist at your check-up.

Halloween is dead.
Check out Rockefeller over here.In addition to candy, we gave out glow sticks, vampire teeth and little boxes of raisins
Not sure why you were in such a hurry to get rid of the ear buds. Kids go through those like orange juice after basketball practice. Just wait.Update. I kept one pair...but my kids are 3 & 5 and have never used buds. They have full on headphones when we are on a plane but don't use them otherwise. Not sure why you were in such a hurry to get rid of the ear buds. Kids go through those like orange juice after basketball practice. Just wait.
That’s why I said Just Wait. No biggie. They’re a dime a dozen. But your kids will be looking for pairs soon, and often. :fellowparent:I kept one pair...but my kids are 3 & 5 and have never used buds. They have full on headphones when we are on a plane but don't use them otherwise.
Why do you hate children? In addition to candy, we gave out glow sticks, vampire teeth and little boxes of raisins
GB ear buds, without them I'd have listened to the Seagulls Yoda bad lip sync song an additional 5,000 times, it's funny and all but I have my breaking point.I kept one pair...but my kids are 3 & 5 and have never used buds. Ha, my kids say this every year but you know what, they're a big hit. There are plenty of folks who don't want their toddler (and younger) age kid to have candy and of course, there are those with food allergies.Politician Spock said:Why do you hate children?
I hate these fear-mongering stories. No one is going to do this.
