Movies You Never Get Tired of Watching (1 Viewer)

For me, there are two sets of movies that fit.

1-Movies that I'll never get tired of watching even if I fall asleep or have to leave during the middle of it because I've seen it so many times, I just love watching it over and over again
Dazed and Confused
Dune (the good one, Lynch 1984)
Armageddon
Green Street (Houligans)
Heat
Aliens
Boiler Room
Chronicles of Riddick
Rounders

2-Movies that I'll never get tired of watching, but they require a commitment because once I start I want to watch the whole ****ing thing

Good call on Boiler Room. Very underrated and a memorable intro to Giovanni Ribisi and Vin Diesel

I didn't see it until I was an adult where others have seen it 1,000 times
Since then I have watched it many times and I never get tired of that opening wedding scene

I might actually like II better than the OG. I've never even attempted III.

Same thing, you would assume we would want to see III but I really have no desire
I and II were made around the same time, they waited almost 20 years to release the 3rd one and FFC never intended to do a 3rd one but he needed the money

I don’t think Part III is all that bad. Or at least the “Coda” director’s cut version. I don’t think I gave it much of a chance before either, but I bought the 4K UHD Blu Ray that came out for the 50th anniversary, and thought “Coda” was better than what I had heard about the movie’s reputation. It is not as good as the first two, but that’s forgivable. I suppose if someone really hated Sophia Coppola being cast in it, he did not fix that though.
 
Full Metal Jacket - in college i could have recited the every line from the first half of the movie. 2nd half has some really good quotes too.

Menace 2 Society came out close to the same time but its always been Boyz for me. It kinda became a friend qualifier for my group of friends..."you Boyz or Menace"

See, we could totally have movie nights. That's a great list. Unless you try to slip Tombstone or Christmas Story in the player, then I walk out. ;) Hoosiers and Miracle will just get bored grumbles.
