Late to the party so some of these may be repeats:
Tombstone
Field of Dreams
And my guilty pleasure....
The Last Boyscout
I like to watch that one standing on my head. The Poseidon Adventure
Good call on Boiler Room. Very underrated and a memorable intro to Giovanni Ribisi and Vin DieselFor me, there are two sets of movies that fit.
1-Movies that I'll never get tired of watching even if I fall asleep or have to leave during the middle of it because I've seen it so many times, I just love watching it over and over again
Dazed and Confused
Dune (the good one, Lynch 1984)
Armageddon
Green Street (Houligans)
Heat
Aliens
Boiler Room
Chronicles of Riddick
Rounders
2-Movies that I'll never get tired of watching, but they require a commitment because once I start I want to watch the whole ****ing thing
Lawrence of Arabia
No Country for Old Men
The Godfather Part 2
Started this last night ……so goodZodiac 2007
Between 1968 and 1983, a San Francisco cartoonist becomes an amateur detective obsessed with tracking down the Zodiac Killer, an unidentified individual who terrorizes Northern California with a killing spree.
Two great movies here. There is a Nolan flick I seem to watch a ton from this era too.Zodiac is a good one.
My favorite movie of recent time is Sicario.
The Godfather I and II
I didn't see it until I was an adult where others have seen it 1,000 times
Since then I have watched it many times and I never get tired of that opening wedding scene
Same thing, you would assume we would want to see III but I really have no desireThe Godfather I and II

I might actually like II better than the OG. I've never even attempted III.
“Don Corleone, I am honored and grateful that you have invited me to your daughter's wedding... on the day of your daughter's wedding. And I hope that their first child be a masculine child. I pledge my ever-ending loyalty."The Godfather I and II

Fredo was not very masculine so Luca knew what he was praying for“Don Corleone, I am honored and grateful that you have invited me to your daughter's wedding... on the day of your daughter's wedding. I don’t think Part III is all that bad. Or at least the “Coda” director’s cut version. I don’t think I gave it much of a chance before either, but I bought the 4K UHD Blu Ray that came out for the 50th anniversary, and thought “Coda” was better than what I had heard about the movie’s reputation. It is not as good as the first two, but that’s forgivable. I suppose if someone really hated Sophia Coppola being cast in it, he did not fix that though.Same thing, you would assume we would want to see III but I really have no desireThe Godfather I and II

I and II were made around the same time, they waited almost 20 years to release the 3rd one and FFC never intended to do a 3rd one but he needed the money

ChatGPT says that this list says this about me (and I'd say it's pretty accurate, if a bit generic):
You’re thoughtful, emotionally intelligent, and appreciate high-stakes human stories, whether they unfold in space, war, childhood, or dreams. You're inspired by transformation, honor, and resilience. You admire craft and rewatch movies that keep giving on multiple viewings—both emotionally and intellectually.Hoosiers and Miracle will just get bored grumbles.
