Mr Irrelevant? More like Mr Awesome... (1 Viewer)

Joe Key: We got a chance to play our weekly "3 Questions" segment with the most popular person on Weber State's campus, football standout, Tim Toone. Tim, first thing I want to know, you clearly have a deep love for football...who inspired that love, who are your heroes?

Tim Toone: Ricky Williams. I got my whole look from him.

Joe Key: Ok, enough football. What do you like to do in your spare time?

Tim Toone: Well, I train, go to class, play the bongos, hacky sack to keep my footwork up, and try to catch at least 3 Dave Matthews shows.

Joe Key: Where do you see yourself in 10 years as a Weber State grad?

Time Toone: Hopefully playing in the NFL, it has always been a dream and I don't plan to give up. I know it may be a long shot and that's why I have the backup plan with my music. Don't get me wrong, I am not breaking up the band

Joe Key: You are referring to your Phish cover band, Phrog?

Tim Toone: Absolutely, we are still playing shows in the area, hope to take it nationwide. We will be on hiatus while I train for the draft and fine tune my application for Canibus Cup Judge 2010, but we will be ready for Phi Kappa Phi's summer break blowout.

legal.

Went to the same high school in Peoria Arizona as my wife did. Of course, she went a few years earlier than him, but pretty cool that he's a local Phoenix guy.

Watched an interview on ESPN 2 one day. Not at all like the people here are saying about his picture. He originally grew out his hair because his teammates did then they all went dreds. His teammates shaved their heads but he kept the dreds. Seemed like a very down to earth, religous type. The kind of soft spoken, well mannered person you root for and want on your team.

And they didn't even have to draft him in the first round!
