Must drop one? (1 Viewer)

NL only league and I have a numbers crunch. I can only keep two of these players.

Ludwick - I imagine this is an easy one. But is there anyone who thinks he will not bounce back and continue to struggle?

Headley - Getting a good amount of AB's but not setting the league on fire.

Gamel - Potentially I imagine he is the guy, but I cannot only go on that. I have a strong pitching, weak offensive team and so I cannot gamble to much. Is Gamel going to be a big contributor?

Any input on this would be greatly appreciated! Again I have to drop one of these three.

I'd probably drop Headley. His playing time has been shrinking lately.

I might keep him over Gamel if the 3B/OF eligibility is of much value to you, but I like Gamel's upside better.

I'd take on Gamel's playing time risk over Headley, if Gamel's PT doesn't increase you'll probably be able to replace him with a similar bat as Headley's, hell you'll probably be able to get Headley back if he's the best option. In 511 career MLB AB's he has 49/13/57/10 and a 256/327/397 line, I wouldn't worry about losing that.

Everything I've read says that Gamel is likely to get sent down again after interleague play. I wouldn't want to keep him if you are in a crunch if he isn't going to stick with the big club.

 and the right answer(if we knew and no one does, that Gamel would stay up.....it might be Headley....otoh there are rumors that the Padres will trade Kouzmanoff and move Headley back to 3B where he would play every day)

Ludwick has been hitting the ball hard, they are just going right at the fielders. I would hang on to him for a while, if I were you.
