subject: Unable to support your product anymore

Hello,

I will not watch, attend, purchase, or support the National Football League and the NFL's games until there is a resolution to the labor dispute with the Referee Union. The product offered by the NFL is inferior to several other American football options and will lead to greater injuries to the participants. I cannot in good conscience continue to pretend the current product is at all equal to that of the preceding seasons.

Respectfully,

I'm sure all the guys who have 17 Sundays a year to get away from their wives will be right behind you. :lmao:

That's the real football lobby, no one cares what guys like you think. :bye:

:lmao: "Dear Commish Goodell, my fake football team is now faker than it was before because of your fake officials. You faker!"

Anyone going to post contact info for the officials?

Or are we just rolling with the idea that the NFL should just pay the officials whatever they want, no matter how much?

The people who spend money on the NFL, the real money, were in bed by 10 and won't see this until tomorrow.

Until then I'll say it once again, you aren't taking the NFL away from guys who have no life outside of 17 Sundays in an NFL parking lot/local bar with their buddies, no wife and wads of secret cash. Those are the fans Goddell cares about, and those guys don't care either way.

You know what would really screw up the NFL is if the guys holding the line markers decided to hold out. How would the refs know where a first down was? I guess they could carry around IPads and look for the yellow line.

I attend two jets games a year, buy a couple hundred bucks worth of NFL gear a year and probably spend 10-15 hours with the NFL on per week. I'm not the biggest fan, but I do put money into the NFL.

I actually copy/pasted the OP's letter and sent it as well. I encourage anyone who wants a better product on the field to do the same. There is power in numbers, we (the fans) out number the league. We need to let them know that we are fed up.

Aaron Rodgers' face with B.J. Raji's booty?!
Please....never post the phrase "B.J. Ragi's booty" ever again. Anywhere. Ever. K - thanks.
Deal. I won't ever post the phrase "B.J. Ragi's booty," though I can't say "again." Well I guess I can, since I had to type it in this reply. Exactly as you've written it (spehling palise). :P JK

Dear Gawain,

You wrote that the current NFL product is inferior to several other American football options. Please name those several other footbal options that are currently better than the NFL.

Sincerely,

Roger

P.S. You didn't think I'd call your bluff, did you #####?

:goodposting: Thank you. Finally. There is more to the labour dispute then just 'goodell being in the wrong". There's other factors to look at, but everyone just jumps on the sides of the referees without too much knowledge of the situation.

If you don't buy those tickets, there are literally tens of thousands of people who will. And if you're spending $200+ per year on NFL "gear" and 10-15 hours per week of your time on the NFL in general, then it's probably time to reevaluate how you spend your time and money.Seriously, what the hell are you doing for 15 hours a week, and how many jerseys does a man need?

ool. Jets can't hit capacity. my newest jersey is a nice Seahawks #84 Galloway jersey and Im not sure how people are doing Thursday night, Sunday and Monday night inside of 10-15 hours. I actually can do things while a game is on. Thought we were FBGs, since when has 200 bucks required a lifestyle reevaluation?

I wonder how many people signed up for the redone channel on TWC yesterday.

Elastiicity of demand.

Maybe it never took hold back in ECON 101.

The demand for the NFL does not dimish; it is inlastic.

The Commishioner and the owners do not care about fairness, integrity, protection of the shield, player safety - doesn't matter.

The demand is inelastic. So #### you, NFL fans.

The officials are not asking for anything they didnt already have. The NFL is not honoring a contract that is already in place. If a player holds out I am sure you are the first to scream,"You signed a contract. Honor it!" Yet the NFL is breaking their contract with the refs and you want to blame the refs? Really?Tell the nfl to fix this now!!!!!!!officeofcommissioner@nfl.comCall: 212-450-2027It is fun to call and leave a voice mail. Venting is nice!
