My First Ever Live Draft (1 Viewer)

Been playing for ten years since I was in high school and have been involved primarily in dynasties for the last several years. This year the guys at work organized a league planned for a weekend everyone had free and now here we stand. Going to walk in with the DD to keep track of players other than that just expecting to have some beers and make fun of the mouths that think they know everything about sports. Really looking forward to this and was just wondering what kind of funny stories, experience or advice anyone has to give about live in person drafting.

We had a guy one year draft WR Curry from the Raiders early in the draft. Curry was a guy who would normally go undrafted. When we prodded him to tell us WTF he was thinking he finally came clean: His girlfriend promised him a hummer if he drafted Curry and he didn't want to take any chances so drafted him early. "I may lose by drafting him so early but I think its worth it!"

If the guys in your draft are even half-way cool, you will love drafting live. It's a real blast.

We've had the same league for 18 years, and we have a live draft every year. This year, three guys flew in from out of town just for the draft so all 12 of us will be live. It's the best day of the year. Try to keep the league together and draft live each year. You won't regret it.

Lol trudat!! And if you have to do something to get a hummer from your girlfriend other than just be her boyfriend I say get a new girlfriend!
