Just Because:

QB

Joe Flacco, Baltimore

Is he a sleeper? Relative to where group think and where I think he will end up, yes. I think that the Ravens take this one handily. I don't think they'll need Flacco to do it either. But they would like to get him untracked. Mario Williams is done for the year, so the biggest threat on D is gone for Houston. Baltimore will pile it on. Look for Flacco to have a big day. 350yards, 4 TD's.

RB

Jonathan Dwyer, Steelers

Went 11 for 107 with a long run last week. This week the Steelers get the Jags who are terrible. Mendenhall may still be dinged. The Steelers finally came last week on and I anticipate them getting up big in this one. Mendenhall should get some rest in this one, especially in the second half. 8 for 50 with a TD.

WR

Kevin Walter, Texans

Probably should have been on this list last week. Went 5 for 81 and a short TD on 6 targets. That's a pretty good target to catch ratio. Texans will be losing. I expect good garbage time points in the second half. He will get plenty of opportunity. 8-100, no TD.

Would have been a good list last week with Walter and Dwyer. Not really sleepers anymore imo, they both broke out last week.

You can take this one to the bank:

Sam Bradford: 3 TD's and 300 yards passing. He's the #31 ranked QB in my league...so I say this qualifies as a sleeper pick.

Lke Flacco pick here...

By same token T.Smith should get open deep if Evans out..also Brandon Gibson Rams will fall behind early

E.Graham is my sleeper rb- both as primary rusher and ppr if TB playing catch up.

0% chance with Dwyer this week. Mendenhall will be back, and Redman will spell him. Dwyer has been a 2 year disappoinment for the Steelers until last week.

The Jags may be terrible, but their rush defense isn't. They are 10th in yardage and 8th in ypc. So for a 3rd string back to perform against a stout run D, yeah, I guess that's a sleeper. Although I'd say he is more a shot in the dark this week than a legitimate sleeper.

My all-WW team:

QB - Colt McCoy - I believe in the OAK offense. Campbell may be nothing more than a game manager, but with DMAC and those WRs, that team will put up points. Which means the Brownies will need to do likewise to keep up. The CLE run game has been a disappointment so far, and we've already seen that Shurmur isn't afraid to have his young QB chuck it. Prediction: 41 attempts, 320-2 TDs yds pass, 2-16 yds rush

RB - Pierre Thomas - I don't see the offense minus Blount keeping up with Brees & Co., and the defense has been lackluster. Look for the Saints to grind down the clock in the second half with PT. Prediction: 15-75-1 rush, 2-20 rec

WR - Greg Little - As starter, in line to catch 6-8 of McCoy's throws, one for a TD. Prediction: 7-80-1 rec

WR - Danario Alexander - Garbage time receptions and a score. 5-75-1 rec

PPR WR - Naaman Roosevelt - The new slot WR in Buffalo will see a lot of action in a high scoring contest with the Giants. Put him at about a 1/3 shot at a TD. Prediction: 7-70-0.3 rec

TE - Visanthe Shiancoe - Getting more and more involved and McNabb's accuracy continues to suffer. When Ponder eventually takes the reins his value will only increase. The Bears have not fared well against TEs this year, so this week Shiancoe scores. Prediction: 6-50-1 rec

DEF - Washington - Playing really well, got the bye week to gameplan, and Vick is turnover prone. 2 sacks, 1 INT, 1 FR, 21 pts allowed

I like this one a lot better, but I would tone down P. Thomas to about 10/55/1.

nothing official yet on mendy, the dreaded GTD IMHO ... I wouldn't call Dwyer a 2 year disappointment, the guy is down the chart AND never really had a chance to play, more of an unknown than a disappointment, just sayin' ...
