I am hoping no one still has shares of CNB. Trading was halted and it is now being bought out for pennies on the dollar by another bank. But it first is going into receivership with the FDIC. This is Wamu all over again. Shares are worthless.

The decision comes after Bank of America (NYSE: BAC) filed suit against CNB, seeking to protect its rights as trustee to $1 billion of loans received from Freddie Mac (NYSE: FRE). U.S. District Judge Adalberto Jordan ruled in Bank of America's favor, citing his concern that Colonial "is on the brink of collapse."In his ruling, Jordan stated that Bank of America "has met its burden in this case," and added that any sale of the assets by Colonial "would amount to a billion-dollar bank heist."Back on July 31, CNB warned of "substantial doubt about [its] ability to continue as a going concern." The Alabama-based bank holding company's problems have only deepened in the weeks since. The firm's mortgage warehouse lending division was raided by federal investigators earlier this month, and now it's facing a criminal probe by the U.S. Department of Justice regarding accounting irregularities.Today's acquisition announcement confirms a prediction made earlier this week by Fox-Pitt analyst Albert Savastano. He suggested on Monday that BB&T could snap up CNB with the government's assistance.

i hate this stock now officially. I mentioned it to the board back at .049 I think when they hit oil.I made good money on in but got out way too early. I should be freakin rich.The thing is, I cant find ANY verifiable information on this company. It is like a freakin ghost. Their website is not updated, there are no working phone numbers, the people they list as their institutional holders are phantoms also, the company that is listed as handling the financing deal cant be verified either. They also have a skull and crossbones on pinksheets.Seriously wtf??? If this thing could be verified as legit, it would be at a buck immediately i think.

FREE releases earnings pre-market tomorrow. If everything tanks today, that makes tomorrow a potential rebound day. If FREE drops to the $1.70 range I think that might be a great buy, considering a TON of people bought in during the stock offering last month at $1.80.

I just put in orders to sell my FEED, Rio Tinto, and Yamana Gold, basicaly everything I have in my trading account. I'll be looking to see how it goes today before I consider moving around any 401K posistions. Yeah, I bought 20,000 at .049. Sold 10,000 at .17. Sold another 2500 Friday at .27. Gonna sit on the rest for a little bit. Now at .38.

Even if you're pulling for the shorts in the near term, you hate to celebrate when others are down I guess. And if you're long on these type days, not much reason to want to post.Tomorrow will be interesting to see if we continue downward or find some support. I'm fine with trading neutral the next few days on FAS. But somehow I doubt I get it. If it breaks below 63 I think I'll just cover and take my medicine on that bonehead move.

Is anybody in NEPH? Right now looks like a good time to get in at 1.25. Recently received FDA 501k approval and have two more in waiting. Stock jumped all the way to 1.50 with the first approval and has pulled back. These approvals are not for drugs, rather a filter.

Good thing I listen to my own advice. I sold two days ago because I thought I saw a better investment. oof. Hopefully this jump wasnt because of a leak. Hopefully it is just a head fake and I can get back in after the sell off.

So lets sya the bid is at 1.50 and the ask is at 1.51 and I want to sell. I decide that waiting to get the extra penny per share isnt worth it to me so I sell at the bid of 1.50. Guy who was only willing to spend 1.50 gets my shares and I get the 1.50 per share.
