Thanks man!Mike Hart is the type of player you want on your team. I hope he sticks around.Nice write-up. I really feel for Mike Hart. Guy gives his all but no one seems he can take the next step to the pro level.

As much as I hate to admit it (being a Spartan Fan) I think that Hart could prove to be alot like another late round Michigan guy that made the most of an opportunity...Tom BradyThanks man!Mike Hart is the type of player you want on your team. Guy gives his all but no one seems he can take the next step to the pro level.ETA: Even though I think he can be a player at the next level I dont think he will geta chance until there is an injury, I do however think he can lead a young running back core. Even if he's not playing he would still be very valuable to a team.
i can see where someone would say that, but in the limited film I have seen he really runs tough in the inside. I'd say he'll have more of a Reggie Bush like role which increases his stock in PPR leaguesthere is a huge difference between the production Johnson had at the college level v what Booker didIn fantasy terms no way should Chris Johnson be that high. He just will never carry a full load and now will be hyped the way Lorenzo Booker was last year.Edit to add: His best strength is as a return man and on special teams. That makes him worth where he will go in the NFL draft but buyer beware on this guy in the fantasy game.
In PPR leagues I could see giving him some love but I just have this feeling people are gonna talk this kid up because he will be drafted high and has speed. He isn't going to be drafted high because he is a great RB though he will be drafted high because he is versatile and can fit a lot of roles. His value should fall along the lines of Leon Washington who went around the 4th round of most my dynasty leagues when he came out rather than Booker who went early 2nd in most my leagues. On a separate note Mike Hart is a warrior and a grinder. He may not have the speed to be "elite" but his vision, intensity, and heart will get him through and he should be higher than where he will go. He will have the best value in this years draft.... and I'm a tOSU fan.i can see where someone would say that, but in the limited film I have seen he really runs tough in the inside. He is bigger faster and more productive than Booker ever was in college. He runs better inside and has nice hands. They have also split him out wide and he has caught wr screens and is effective on rb swing routes. I think that he is all Booker was made out to be and will be almost as effective as Reggie Bush. (Reggie is definitely an effective fooball player- just production has yet to meet expectation.) He can be a useful FF player on limited touches- especially flex leagues where you can play a 3rd running back.In fantasy terms no way should Chris Johnson be that high. My 'do is a little more relaxed in the "non-playing season", Bloom OTOH...FBG's #1 riser: Cecil Lammey's hair!Nice list CL.
I still think you have Jamaal Charles (Texas) ranked too high. Some guys just don't get it...he seems like one of those guys. Any specific reason for the Kevin Smith (Central Florida) drop or was it just a case of other players rising?
Kevin Smith did fall because of the rise of others. I will say this, and Bloom's said it 1,000 x, Kevin Smith picked the WRONG year to come out.FBG's #1 riser: Cecil Lammey's hair!Nice list CL.

Do you think his frame will fill out?... I'm really not trying to hate I just have never been a fan of guys projected as 3rd down backs/return men. I think that anybody who has seen any of his games on television would say that his speed translates to the field. He was in both Mayock's and Kiper's top five before the combine. Right now, he is 5'11" 197, and was at that weight to run fast at the combine. I don't think he can carry much more than 205-210, but I don't think he needs to. If he succeeds, it will likely be a Tiki Barber/Brian Westbrook/Domanack Davis(Williams situation where he is drafted to be a third down back and beats out the competition. If he goes to the right spot, he could do that. I see him as a8-12 carry 2-4 catch early in his career who can be rb3 or rb4 depth with the potential to be a fringe rb1 if he eventually grabs the spot.Do you think his frame will fill out?... I'm willing to take a look at this kid though and see if he can be more than what was projected pre-combine.
I agree, I never target these types of RB's. I dont see the potential to ever be anymore than a backup/3rd down type of back.Do you think his frame will fill out?...
