MyFBG will let you define and save up to five league profiles, so you can browse stats, rankings, etc. customized to your scoring system and league parameters.

Please bear with us as we work out the few (we hope) remaining kinks. But it's ready for you to give it a shot.

MyFBG (subscribers only)

If you spot a bug or if you have a question, please post it in this thread or in the newly-created support forum.

If your league starts 2 wr's, 2 rb's and one flex, what decimal is that and where does it go?? For wr's, rb's, both??

How bout simply adding a flex position....?

This is a fantastic feature though...thanks.

If it's PPR, probably 2.5 and 2.5 would be about right. If not, maybe 2.8 RB and 2.2 WR. I agree that flex would be good. I'm going to take a few weeks to make sure everything is running smoothly as it is before I try to implement new things. But I will keep that suggestion on the list. Thanks for the feedback.

Excellent....thanks DD.

After you have debugged it and everthing is running smooth, I would like to be able to set scoring points for different IDP positions like I can for offensive positions.

Thanks

The link on the website, when hovered over it, points to the right location. When you click on the link, it puts a "www." in front of the "subscribers.footballguys.com/myfbg" and goes nowhere. If you get this error, until it is fixed, just highlight the "www." and delete it and the press enter.

ETA: They've fixed the link on the home page now.

Any chance of getting it to break down the IDP's and their scoring? DT separate from DE, CB and Safety instead of just DB, with scoring available for differences in all positions. Just thought I would ask, I know it's probably a no, and that would be a big

For the near future, it's a no.Sorry.
Ok, thanks. I know a lot of IDP leagues score every position the same, and a lot don't. Overall though, that's the only negative, it is another great feature for us subscribers.edit: It probably goes right along with the rankings which don't break down the IDP positions.

Would it be possible to add an option that reflects TE/WR as one position? eg. a league that starts 2RB 2WR/TE and has 2RB/TE/WR Flex.

It's probably impossible to know without doing a bunch of math. I set up my first league like that and put 2.8 for RB and 3.2 for WR. I figured it was 2.75 because 75% of the time in my leagues last year the weekly high scoring flex was a RB. I rounded up to .8 becuase I'm lazy.

That also falls into the Maybe Later category. It is worth nothing, though, that on the Preseason Projections and the View Stats options, you can choose WR/TE as a position.

Wow...awesome job here. FBG is really starting to set itself apart from the competition. :o
I'm a FBG fanatic (paying customer for many years) but it in fairness FFToday has had this feature for quite some time...

please tell me you're not putting them in the same class...because it's really not close. I didn't say this feature had never existed, I'm implying that the new layout combined with the superior content is really helping FBG distinguish itself.

fantastic stuff FBG's....great work, love all the new changes, esp My FBG. This is just another reason why your have the best overall FF website on the planet.

looks great.. suggestion.. break out news separately... add a date range like the expert rankings... News in the last XX days... by single profile, all profiles, or just the news blogger again... AND.. make it RSS..

yippee kayee

Is it free at FFT or is it by subscription?

Free...Don't misunderstand, I'm not FFT lover, but I used to go to their site simply for this feature...glad to finally get it here

I really like the section where you can read the positives and negatives and outlook for your players.. however... where the print goes off the white and into the green field looking background, you can't read it. At least I couldn't, unless I highlighted it. I hope that made sense, lol.

I agree that the scoring numbers are too narrow (unless this is something you plan on expanding later). I'm definitely not knocking it, though. This is a great deal!

For Instance in the Fantasy Jungle scoring is as follows (and you can start a QB in the flex position)

Passing TD 0-39 yards = 3pts

Passing TD 40 yards or more = 6 pts.

Rushing TD 0-39 yards = 6 pts.

Rushing TD 40 yards or more = 9 pts

Receiving TD 0-39 yards = 6 pts.

Receiving TD 40 yards or more = 9 pts.

I know the variations are endless - but many leagues awar bonus points when certain parameters are achieved - e.g. 100 yards rushing, 300 passing, five solo tackles. that may be something to add.

ETA: I realize that this also sets the detail level for projections up a bit

I was just asking for posterity's sake. Haven't been at FFToday in years as it was a cess pool.Nothing like this fine establishment here at FBGs, and all the high class patrons it serves. :)

Is there any way you guys are going to be adding more categories for scoring and more options of MyFBG. I'm looking for something like what MDC does when you set up a mock. You can input say 5 points for 5 receptions, It makes a difference week to week during the year cause 4-99= 9 points and 5-100= 20 points. Along those lines also looking for yardage bonus lines (250 passing, 100 rush/ recieve) and for odd categories 5 points for 20 rushes or 25 completions.

This is sweet! Any chance of integrating rosters and scoring from MyFantasyLeague.com? I goto FFToday only for this feature.

Great work!
fwiw, MyFantasyLeague.com offers an XML feed of their league data, including league scoring systems and league starting lineup requirements (see here and here for the details), in theory, it should be do-able...

Just to add to one of the possible additions, although kickers don't mean a whole lot, having a place to enter negative points for missed attempts would be good.

Oh it's not do-able, it's already done.http://www.fftoday.com/mflpower/playerrank.php

Insert your league ID, and then it customizes the projections to your scoring. It's pretty sweet. Would be a great addition to MyFBGs.

Technically, MyFFToday allows you to input your league scoring and the projections, player stats, player pages, points allowed, Crank Score calculator, etc. are customized for that.MFL Power on the other hand allows you to input any league ID from myfantasyleague.com, and in the case of the link you provided (preseason player rankings) finds all the players on a roster in that league and either (a) highlights the roster for a specific team, or 2 teams to compare, or (b) highlights all free agents against the player rankings.

Thanks for the props Dhizz. Just wanted to clarify. That is, if you can stand the stink of what BigSteelThrill considers a cess pool :goodposting:

One thing is for certain. The grass is definitely greener over here
