Subscriber contest entries are on the main site only. The new MyFootballguys is only doing what the old MyFBG system did, for leagues hosted on those external sites.

The old MyFBG home page did provide links to each of the Subscriber Contests.....Regular Season and Playoff. Both for contest entry and status. Maybe you missed them. It was convenient to be able to quickly take a look at your entry each week....."did I survive or not?"....while checking out the 10-second primer (or whatever) for other leagues linked.

I think it's a little early to say it's a lost year. Please bear with us. For non-dynasty leagues these features are only really useful for waivers and lineups; we're not there yet.

These look like individual issues as obv lots of people are logging in correctly here. Please email me apps@footballguys.com and we'll work through it there.

You say it's early to consider it a lost year and obviously some are saying it's too late to be beta testing. 

When you consider there are people that subscribe primarily to use this for drafts, it's currently prime draft season, and there are obviously still issues that keep it from working for many, then I tend to agree that it's a lost year for some. 

I don't understand why you're still trying to convince some that it'll be ok when it's not. FBG offers many items and people subscribe for many different reasons. Some like the articles, some like the contests, some like the tools, etc.

I get why you guys did this. But when several people here have posted they are mid draft and clearly affected by unexpected changes to a product they were counting on, it seems some of the responses here are not fully understanding that impact on certain customers. Telling them it's too early to say it's a lost year shows a lack of understanding about the impact the timing of these major changes, IMO.

I don't get this perspective.  

I'm a heavy keeper/dynasty player and more than halfway through my main draft.  By all rational thought, I'm the type of player who is most effected by the changes and issues. Yet, I'm fine - because the reality is that all of last year's tools, with one exception, have been available.  Classic DD is still there.  Projections and articles still there.  The only thing we got in years past that hasn't been there has been the league linkage in MyFBG - and we are almost there with that.  

Yes, it is frustrating that they are a couple months behind where they should be development-wise and we are sitting here two thirds of the way through August and they are squashing a ton of bugs but I've been a fan of Joe and Co. since the cheatsheet.net days and they have, over those two decades, proven that they actually care about the community and are committed to providing the best, smartest tools for the committed players.

We couldn't have been clearer about the mobile draft dominator ever since we first released it 3 years ago. There's for instance more details on this here: http://footballguys.com/loginfaq.php. We developed it at extra cost, and it was extra functionality, so were faced with either raising the sub to cover those costs or price it separately so everyone is able to choose if they want that or not. We chose the latter.

It is still there.  When you go to the upperleft link to access MyFBG, you can select the "old" MyFBG or the "new".  Just select the old one.

Response times there are very good so please don't feel like we're pushing you guys to one side going down that route. Genuinely asking that to get you the solution quickest.

The draft lists should be working now on the new MyFootballguys; if they're not individually for you or your leagues, let us know at apps@footballguys.com. But even then our advice would be if at all possible to use one of the Draft Dominator tools there. DD Classic has MFL import, new DD will have that next year too.

I can give you a 100% guarantee that there will never be any exclusive deal with sites "cashing out". @Joe Bryant and @David Dodds I am 100% certain would say the same thing.

Guys, I do have an update on the FFPC situation for FFPC Dynasty and Footballguys Player Championship leagues. These were taken out of a user's league listing API call recently due to people on another site abusing the system by spying on other people's leagues. Bottom line is, this would have broken regardless of new system or old as the old system was making the same API calls we're doing now. I'm continuing a conversation with FFPC here to see if there is a way to get them from the API call with authentication; failing that we will put a box under the leagues we could find, asking you to enter a league ID for those league types that aren't returned over the API.

Bottom line: this will be fixed soon.

I still cannot get my 9 FFPC teams to sync in.

It only loads up my DE teams and my terminator, which, really is useless as they are all best ball leagues and theres nothing to do them other than draft them.

You seemed to have completely missed my point. And to be clear, I'm NOT one of those affected by this currently.  I don't use this site to draft.  In fact, i don't use this feature until the season starts. 

That said, there are people that purchase subscriptions for specific reasons. There are people in this thread that have said they buy the subscription ONLY for the MyFBG function and use it for their drafts as well as during the season. So for them, it's completely irrelevant that the articles are still there or that the projections and DD are still there. Sure, they could go and use them, but if they are used to MyFBG, pay primarily for that function, and when they need it most it's unexpectedly not functional, that's a major issue. To then be told that it's not too late fails to recognize that subset of customer, even if they are the minority.  As they stated, a big reason to use that tool is because it helps with the time needed to prepare. If you are mid draft, trying to use DD for the first time or spend time beta testing is far from ideal.

Sorry if this has been asked already but is there a way to list the rankings for a position and then highlight players on your team as well as players on another team?This was my favorite part about the classic version. Made it easy to highlight different teams to see where their strengths and weaknesses were for possible trading partners. I will also agree that the row height is entirely too high. The more players I can see on one screen the better.

Personalized Rankings = 6 mouse clicks to change from QB to RB.  Please add links above the table so this can be done in one click.  The Filters are nice for filtering multiple positions though.

Please break out DL into DE/DT and DB into S/CB for those leagues that treat them separately.  This is prior function that's been lost.

Now that I'm reminded that there still is a myFBG classic page, will that page have any value now or during the season?

Will the classic page continue to have updates? Is there a point where only half the links will be useful? Is there a set date where the classic page disappears?

Maybe I missed it, but if classic still has some life, the message should be "We've got a brand new feature, and it's the future, and it will take a little time to get used to, but know that the old way still works for another XXX months"

I beg to differ.  It's not too early, since drafts have been ongoing this month with many folks, including myself.  Waivers are ongoing, and access to these tools and linkage to our specific leagues would have been helpful.  The issue isn't whether or not bugs will be ironed out by the beginning of the season, it's that in the heat of the draft year, very basic tools were unavailable.

I don't want a refund or anything like that.  Just reinforcing that it's disappointing that there did not appear to be a sense of urgency or clear sense of timing to get this project completed well before the draft season.

I will say, it does look like basic functionality--like being able to log in and sync leagues--was established last night, which is helpful, moving forward.

ETA:  Count me in as one who would like a crisper formatting with less fluff (e.g., pictures), more information condensed on the screen, and fewer filter clicks to get to the information I'm looking for.  

ETA2:  Also, this is super nit-picky, but when you sort a preseason ranking by points, the header "Pts" has an arrow next to it pointing down when it is sorting information in ascending order...and the arrow will point up when it is sorting information in descending order.  Should be reversed.

Agree, I use the dynasty feature to track my guys and other teams when compiling offers.  This has been a total mess and a giant lack of communication other than the "We are working on it, it'll be up soon" message that has been up since May.

Got it. We need to have a think about this internally; a lot of this depends on what our plan there is for the future. Honestly, I would say most likely we're not going to add those links for now to the new system as we're trying to keep it as clean as possible for what it's intended to do. But we're also not deleting any of the old stuff.

While we're running two systems here we'll do all we can to clarify what's on which. For now, the clearest I can make it is, articles and news on both, anything that involves roster syncing  or the results of this is on the new MyFootballguys. You can use the old MyFBG throughout this year, if you manually input your rosters. But we'd obviously much prefer the constructive feedback to bridge any perceived weaknesses of the new vs the old.

Guys, I've said this before and will continue to post it. Feedback is not helpful unless it gives us something we can action. You have to get into specifics; if your goal is to help us make this better that's the only way we'll be able to help.

As you can all see, yesterday we made a bunch of fixes and changes. We'll continue to work hard at it.

@Simon Shepherd, some of the posts in the thread are not going to be constructive posts with specifics, some are going to be venting about the perception that FBG is taking away products that were well liked by its subscribers and replacing them with what feels like incomplete and buggy products. You have posted enough about wanting to make it better and needing specifics to do so. You don't need to keep repeating that over and over.

I appreciate your responsiveness and your team's hard work on this, but it really isn't necessary to admonish the posters who want to vent.

I have said three times that the done button doesn't save the starters and min max roster setting.  Plus my CBS league scoring doesn't match up to the projections it is showing. My crazy scoring system auction is next Friday fwiw. Thanks

You guys are doing better than I am.  I've gone to the 'Personalized Rankings' link from MyFBG Main, and can't go anywhere from there.  Can't click on 'Sign In', can't do a thing.  This is using a Chromebook.  

Is the Classic being dismantled, or can I use that in the meantime?

This comment came across as condescending. Good example of why its risky for developers to talk directly to the customers. You don't get to tell us how to think. We're the ones beta testing this mess for you during peak drafting season. Since the company put the developers in charge of customer support you need accept our comments and feedback without sounding dismissive.  

 Every dev has tried to recreate with no luck so let's try a screenshot over email w/ some more details. thanks.

How many testers do you guys have working on this in-house? Or are the Devs doing all the testing too?

I am shocked you are making this argument to your customers that are trying to make sense of all these new changes on a broken website while attempting to draft.
