Mystery Injury for Joey Galloway? (1 Viewer)

Where do you see him listed as questionable? I don't think they put those designations out until Friday this year.

We host our league through CBS Sportsline. He's now listed as "questionable" on my player updates (see: http://www.sportsline.com/nfl/players/playerpage/1286). Not sure if this designation reflects the official NFL injury report or is simply a designation being used by CBS Sportsline.

Either way, we need to lock in our lineups for week 1 prior to the start of this evening's game, so this definately has me worried. Would hate to put up a goose egg in my WR#3 spot....

Rotowire - Sep 6 Galloway (team decision) did not practice with the Buccaneers on Wednesday, the St. Petersburg Times reports.

Recommendation: No medical reason was cited, so we believe this is just a case of the Bucs keeping the veteran Galloway's legs fresh. He should start against Seattle on Sunday.

Bucs WR Joey Galloway (team decision) had limited participation in practice Wednesday as the team prepares for Week 1 at Seattle.

(Updated 09/05/2007).

The Bucs have not disclosed the reason for Galloway's limited outing Wednesday. Continue to track his progress throughout the week. Galloway is getting up there in age, but still might be able to produce more than 1,000 yards in 2007. Treat him as a No. 3 Fantasy WR for Week 1.

Joey Galloway was limited at Bucs practice Wednesday.

(Updated9/05/2007)

The Bucs opted to hold their 35-year-old split end out of two-a-days during training camp, and will probably continue to limit his practice work at least early in the season. But he shouldn't be in danger of missing Week 1.
I´m not worried about it.

Galloway did that alot last season too-- not practicing every day. I'd feel confident in Galloway as a WR3 or bye week replacement, 900+ yards 6+TD... more if Garcia plays like he did last year.

Yahoo Sports:Sep 7 Galloway practiced without limitation with the Buccaneers on Thursday after getting a rest day Wednesday.Recommendation: Galloway will start for the Bucs on Sunday at Seattle, as the team decided to just give the vet a day off this week to keep his legs fresh.
