Nabers - what to do in a very deep dynasty? (1 Viewer)

32-team league, so pickins are razor thin. Currently 7-1 (we do doubleheaders every week) with a good team headed up by Jeanty, Barkley, Higgins and good linebackers.

Lost Nabers, and have absolutely no one on the bench to plug in (Demarcus Robinson is my only other viable WR).

Considering making some offers to rebuilding owners for WRs like Drake London. Only thing is Nabers has a 6-year contract and London only has 3.

So... chase the championship or hold Nabers for better days ahead?

I am 2-2 right now in a 12 team Full IDP league. I am thinking of offering Lamb up for Nabers. It's a contract/salary cap league. Lamb is $55 and Nabers is $10/2026 (so under control thru 2026). Lamb is eligible to escalate if he scores in the top 15 of WR's this year. The team with Nabors is 3-1 and has a lot of WR injuries. I would still have Jamo, Egbuka, and Meyers (start 2). I can't decide if it makes sense to do and I am not sure the other guy would do it.

I'm fine with trading Nabers for London. The contact is something to think about but London is good enough that he'll either get extended or be a WR1 on another team unless he goes to a place like Cincinnati where Chase is already there and that doesn't really happen. It's up to you if you care about this year more than the future but for me personally it wouldn't be a good idea to trade Nabers for anything less than a top WR so you'd be benefiting both timeframes anyway. If you're looking to trade him for 2 WRs, it might still be worth doing but it depends on who you'd get. It might not help you as much as you think short term and hurt you long term.
