Nate "The Great" McLouth locks up CF Job (1 Viewer)

Glad I sold high, 13 R 2 HR 12 RBI 4 SB .217 avg over the last month. He's nowhere near as bad as he's been, but he's also nowhere near as good as he was to start the year...and he's painfully awful to watch play defense. Still can't believe he was being compared to Sizemore and Granderson in here, ridiculous...
:grad:

Nice hot streak he's got going, he'll cool off again, and in the league I couldn't deal him in he will find his way back to the bench at that time. Last week was a good week for Tavares' quad to come up lame, I ddn't miss any quality McLouth production :hot: .

I was happy with him for a while, and had a guy coming off the DL (awhile ago) so needed to make a 3 for 2 trade to save some money:

NTG, Youkillus, and Wainwright for M Holliday and D Haren (then turned Holliday for Hamels)

I am pleased ever since, with no turning back....

He's back folks. I got second hand information he visits this thread. Anyhow, 9-23, 4 doubles, 3 HRs, 9 RIBs, 6 runs and a bag in his last 5 games.

Is that thumbs up for the 3 run HR, or not calling for the ball in the bottom of the 9th allowing 2 runs to score to tie the game lol?
He was clearly referring to his bat, center fielders don't need to play defense.
"The Associated Press reports Pittsburgh Pirates OF Nate McLouth is making his case for a Gold Glove this season as he has yet to make an error.":lmao:

Luckily for McLouth you don't get errors for misplaying fly balls.

So one good night makes a great player now? I guess Kelly Shoppach is a Hall of Famer then, yes?

Or that rope he threw to the plate tonight :o

Don't miss the train on the next great outfielder. Get him...at all costs.
Should we still have him active? ;)
Haven't pimped this guy in nearly two years. #### I didn't even keep him after that breakout year. Try to stay ahead of the curve. Just like having room for 10 keepers last year and dropping Chris Davis. You gotta strike while the iron's hot but know when to let go.

 Made my 2008 season. Rode him for a few months and traded him for Lincecum.
