Just read where Matt Jones in doubtful again, and with Holt and Horn having by weeks I'm left in poor shape..The best player I see on the waiver wire is Pitts. Nate Washington...I know nothing about him at all..Question is should I just sit on Jones and hope for the best or pick up Washington and play him..Either way I'm not too impressed with my choices..

Boom or bust player, he will see the field, but don't expect a ton of targets. With Hall on Ward, might be a nice one week pickup....50-50 shot a production.

Nate is the Steelers 3rd WR, lines up in the slot. He's been getting a fair amount of targets and made some nice catches but has dropped a few as well.

Agree with the Sheriff. I think the best you can hope for is 30-50 yards and a TD if you're lucky.

I'm in a similar spot and have been looking into him. Here's what I found.

Second year WR, didn't play last year.

6'1", 185

So far this year has had 2 TDs, he caught 1 last week from Ben and had a TD week 1 from Batch.

He is averaging about 4 targets a week.

So far his weekly stats are:

2 - 32 and a TD

3 - 32

1 - 8

3 - 45

3 - 68 (including a 47 yard TD)

My opinion is he's adequate as a 1 week filler if you are desparate. His long term value is limited with Santonio Holmes there but you could do worse than to plug him in and hope he converts 1 of the 3-5 looks he will get into a TD I guess. For that matter, I am considering Holmes as well as he's also available but I think next week Nate is probably a better play.

Ok that helps quite a bit...I have to drop Atlanta as my second defense ( Keeping San Diego ) which I really don't want to do if it can be helped....So to the second part of the question...What do you think of Matt Jone's chances to play this week????
