I wish I would know about national TE day before the games start.
Fortunately I found out via our IBL team text and did well in DFS with a couple of double TE lineups.I wish I would know about national TE day before the games start.
Honestly, I have a hard time making it through a whole game these days with all the commercials and breaks in action. I record the games and start watching about 40 minutes after kickoff so I can forward through most of the commentary and advertisements. Hard pass on the TE belt presentation but thanks for the heads up.NBC made a special belt for a TE tonight if they have a great game. Stay up to se the presentation. So what changed with all the other TEs that scored? Why did Kelce and McBride wait until week 8 to go off? Weren't they premium fantasy assets weeks 1-7? Pitts just had a career game. He's been doing...that?It's not some type of conspiracy. In the cases of Otton and Njoku, circumstantial changes have made them much stronger FF options (Evans and Godwin injuries, Cooper trade, Watson injury). Pitts has been doing this for a few weeks now. Just happened to score a couple times today. Kelce and McBride were premium FF assets entering the season.
The rigged comment was tongue and cheek, but I would be curious to know the total fantasy points scored today vs the average and vs the previous high water mark of the year. It is what it is. I'm just annoyed hearing it every time a TE makes a catch.
P.S. Stay off my lawn!
@Joe Bryant was the lack of recognition of National TE Day the biggest whiff in FBG history? 75-80% of the TEs exceeded their projections. I assume when you speak about your biggest failures as a business owner or for that matter regrets in life, that ignoring National TE Day will be at the top of the list. When you have your staff meetings this week you should probably highlight the importance of attention to detail and remind them to check their calendar for anniversaries and partner birthdays and national fullback and kicker day. Particularly disappointed in Bloom as this would have been a home run podcast topic last week.

Bump for @Joe Bryant to send out a memo to the staff working on projections.@Joe Bryant was the lack of recognition of National TE Day the biggest whiff in FBG history? 75-80% of the TEs exceeded their projections. I picked up in a couple of leagues a few weeks ago to see if he went back to his normal role with the team but dropped him after not seeing anything exciting happen.Really tempted to get Taysom Hill active this weekend

Who the heck is Oronde Gadsden?
Looks like he doubled up his FBG projections. Wonder what position he plays?

Regardless, I would like to focus on the statement about serious dynasty players not in the herd. I would equate a serious dynasty player to a serious wiffle ball player. Sure, you can put a lot of time and effort into your hobby but it's really not "serious" relative to baseball players putting in that amount of time and effort. IMO "serious" in the fantasy world means you are trying to play your rent with your efforts or at least trying to significantly profit. Joe Bryant is "serious" about FF, the guy who watches more games than Joe and has a podcast listened to by 1000 people isn't "serious" (this is my definition and I don't have a problem if yours is different). I just don't see the platforms/contests available in dynasty to draw in what would be my definition of serious players.
