NBA 2012-13 Back to the Future League (1 Viewer)

Samuel Dalembert - C Milwaukee Bucks

Sammy can easily get me 10-10 and has averaged almost 2 blocks a game for his career. I don't need him for much more than 8 rbg and stand around the opponents basket swatting balls away.

PG - Conley

SG - Knight

SF - Durant

PF - Lee

C - Dalembert

I like this team. Conley, Lee and Dalembert were boring picks but you know what you're getting from them. You don't need to take risks when you have Durant. Knight is the only wildcard but he's got a lot of upside.

The best part about the Fantrax league is I get injury updates on my players. Wade and Curry have already played in the preseason. And then there's this good news about Amare:

Amare Stoudemire bruised his left knee in practice Wednesday and has been ruled out for Thursday's preseason opener against the Wizards.
If he's "kneeless" as the Google Doc says, how did he bruise his knee, huh? :P

screw it, this might be a reach but I want him on my team, and after seeing what he did last night....

Andre Drummond C Detroit Pistons

I know the Detroit front office would much rather play Greg Monroe at PF, which leaves Center minutes up for grabs. Its either that or suffer with Monroe trying to play defense at C and play the scrubs we have at PF. If they are smart, more often that not they should have Drummond playing more minutes than guys like Maxiel and Jerebko. He brings shot blocking, rebounding and incredible athleticism. upside pick here all the way. with the other rookies taken in front of him already being taken, no way he makes it back to me.

Solid choice with some Rebound and Block upside. But not ALL the rookies ahead of him were selected already.

HArrison Barnes - SF - GSW

Was looking at a couple frontcourt players but they (or something similar) will be available when I pick in 13 spots. My team is pretty low on "upside!" so I'll roll the dice with a rookie at a position where I still need a starter. He'll probably come off the bench at first...

I know, hence I didn't say ALL and didn't want to spotlight anybody left. can't believe they took Barnes over Drummond! :excited: Detroit got lucky in the draft for the 3rd straight year....Monroe, Knight, and Drummond all fell to us. the only thing that could've fallen better for us was if Cousins fell but that wasn't gonna happen.

6.5 Kyle Korver

He can shoot the 3 as well as anyone. Atlanta doesn't have much at the wing positions either so Kyle might even start.

Torn between two players here. I need more perimeter scoring though, so:

Smith, J.R. SG/SF

PG Teague//Stuckey

SG Stuckey/Smith

SF Gallinari/Smith

PF Duncan/Gallinari

C Howard/Duncan

Was debating between Smith or this guy so that made my decision easier. Need to go big here anyway.

Yo Mama selects:

Gustavo Ayon, PF/C

Should get decent minutes down in Orlando this year.

GOOSE!!

6.8 Isaiah Thomas, PG

One of my favorite players as a kid. Hoping for a repeat of his 84-85 season which would make him a steal in the 6th round.

6.9 - Darren Collison, PG, DAL

Not exactly the best fit, but I think he's the best player left at this point.

PG - Steve Nash/Darren Collison

SG - Kobe Bryant

SF - Luol Deng

PF - Carlos Boozer

C - Bismack Biyombo

5 - 22 - Goat Herders - Tristan Thompson - PF

6.12 Ray Felton, PG, Acer FC

PG Ellis/Felton

SG Evans

SF Scola

PF Davis

C Cousins

Well.... it looks like I'm completely punting on point guards, hopefully manu and iggy both get 100% credit for pg again this year.
