As Scoobus can attest, Copeland was on my short list of guys to take prior to his outburst this weekend. I'm sure this will be the year Amare plays 40 minutes all 82 games and/or Wallace/Thomas play like it's 1999.

I hope Copeland makes the club and can manage to have some kind of NBA career. I'm a fan of guys like him who follow their dream and develop their game all over the world.

At this point I'd settle for a towel waiver.

Back! As I mentioned via phone yesterday, we'll go to a 1 hour clock today. We have just over 7 days and 8 hours to finish, so I think we'll do just fine. I know it feels these picks don't matter, and maybe they'll matter less than they do in the MLB draft, but I suggest you put a little time into looking around at depth charts (fantrax has them as do a number of sources).

Part of the trick of the sim at this point isn't getting a bunch of 30mpg guys, but rather getting those guys that play 5 mins a game and are really efficient or do something really well.
