NBA BTTF IV - LEAGUE ID: 53356 (2 Viewers)

How many teams make the playoffs?  I was on fire and one game out and then started losing a bunch.  Really liked my team this year.

 
what the hell kind of sim is this?  I win 52 games and then get blown out 4 straight games to a team that finished 8 games behind me, a team I blew out every time we played this season?  doesn't seem very accurate....

Pretend Curry was just pissed that Pretend Westbrook was given the MVP, I guess.

this is supposed to be an NBA sim.  in the history of the NBA, I don't ever remember a 50+ win team getting swept by an 8 seed.  At least let me win a game or two, FFS

To be fair, I was just as surprised as you.

 
After sweeping the first two rounds lost 1-4 to Scoobus and his super stacked team. 

I think this makes 3 years in a row going to the conference finals for me.

Can't wait until next season!

Good series. Was definitely not happy losing game 1 to you, you never know with the sim.

Interesting that we were both able to overcome wasting auction dollars on major down seasons from supposed great 3 point shooters (Korver, D. Green) and still make the conference finals.

 
Gah. I was wondering how Scoobus assembled such a team..apparently be bought:

Drummond $38

Korver $20

Giannis Anttettatat $20

Kemba $7

ZBo $7

But somehow added Kevin Durant ($80) without sacrificing Drummond, Korver, and Giannis!!!

Who the hell made that trade?

I knew I had no chance to win the series and that was especially so after I saw I won game 1 after Avery Bradley went 7/10 on 3s!

This was a fun season to see and experiment with. I really didn't think my team would do well, but I think the defense really helped.

Bump.

I netted about 3000 minutes in this deal, got some really bad players out of my lineup, still had a feature scorer in Kemba, and won 51 games and a playoff series.

I realize I didn't do the rest of the league any favors sending Durant to Scoobus but the trade helped my team for sure.

Overcame a 12 point deficit in the 4th to steal game one.  Bosh with the go ahead basket, and Kobe with a huge 6 points in the 4th.

We did it!

Great series Jmon, very worried getting down 2-0 with the great team you had.  Luckily Durant finally came alive.  Had enough minutes left in the tank to play key guys more and cut back on others.  Greek Freak with a massive triple double in the final game.  Can't wait til next year, definitely have to do an auction again.

 
Congrats, your team was historically good, great job.

Agree about the auction, those 5 or so days of waking up to the results were really exciting.  Looking forward to, I think, year 5 of this.
