I'm really excited for the Nuggets' young bigs. I really hope that they keep the old guys on the bench and let the young guys develop.

So far so good. Even with Nurk and Arthur both sidelined Hickson has barely seen the floor in the pre-season. King Joff and Jokic aren't giving any reasons for those minutes to go to anyone else. The young core of this team is now possibly the most exciting it has been since the Mutombo, Ellis, Rogers, Abdul-Rauf years.

The young core of this team is now possibly the most exciting it has been since the Mutombo, Ellis, Rogers, Abdul-Rauf years.

I think they should be shopping Faried hard right now. He's still the best big they have for now but Nurkic is definitely the future at center and the two young guys are much better fits next to Nurkic. If we do keep Faried he should be the sixth man and spend as much time as possible with King J and Jokic who can both float out of the paint on offense.
