so, if you bought a ticket to tonite's grrrrizly v cavs game, there is no kyrie, love or lebron playing or even coming to Memphis.  all 3 resting.

why would the latter part of the statement be predicated on the former?

many people are not season ticket holders and merely a single game buyer.  if your kid wants to see lebron and the champs, Johnny Lunchbox has maybe 1 chance to grab tickets. 

this is an issue for the nba imo.

Well sure, but the way you constructed the sentence made it seem like the latter half was being caused by the former half.

the issue is probably more with the nba for the way they schedule too many games in a short time.  although in this case it does not look like cleveland was in any kind of an onerous stretch, other than the one back-to-back.  the new cba will supposedly alleviate a bit of this scheduling issue.
