*NBA THREAD* Abe will be missed (7 Viewers)

"I gave a lot to that organization, in terms of my talent." Even though its true, what a conceited thing to say.

I love D-Wade and they will be fun to watch, but Lebron's going to make this a tough team to root for.

Can one of you NBA knobs explain to me how the cap is 58.3 million and the Heat can have Bosh, Wade and Lebron?I'll hang up and listen.
Contract escalates each year. First year of max contracts for all three fits under the cap.ETA: Heat has "Bird rights" over Wade, whereby you can sign your own free agents and exceed the cap.
Not how it works. The nba cap isn't as confusing as people make it out to be. Everybody should google nba salary cap faq.

DaSean Butler, Dexter Pittman and Jarvis Varnando seem like pretty good filler types for 2nd round picks for Miami. A couple of bigs and a forward that can D up. Reminds me of the Celts with Big Baby/Powe types.

Have a fun winter with Delhomme & Mo Williams. The new faces of Cleveland sports
You should be happy right now, yet you choose to be a ####. Says a lot about you.
Craig is still mad about that stuff that happened to him when he was in jail in Youngstown a few years ago. I don't agree with ### rape, even in prison. :scared:
It's the lack of respect that hurts the most. Well, second-most.

Extend this special another hour. Bron speaking is better than PBA Bowling or whatever garbage they'd have on right now.

Now they're showing the trashy behavior that symbolizes Cleveland. Arrest those clowns.

Star players love to play for teams with history with Lakers, Celtics and Bulls being on top. When Lebron goes to Chicago he dines at the same steak house Jordan dined at, at the same exact table and with the same waiter. That waiter in fact told Ford from ESPN that Lebron told him that to save his table since he's signing with the Bulls. Take that for what it's worth.More importantly the people who say that a player like Lebron would never play in Chicago because he doesn't want to follow in Jordan's footsteps must not follow the NBA. Players actually want to do the opposite.
Has this been bumped yet?
