He has been way under the radar, but have you guys seen Andre Drummond yet this year? Is a year or two away from being the best big man in the league. http://bleacherreport.com/articles/1486751-grading-andre-drummonds-early-performance-with-the-detroit-pistons

Drummond is currently ranked 13th in the league in blocks, 17th in offensive rebounds per game, 33rd in overall rebounds and once he qualifies would be in the top three in field goal percentage... 15th in the league in player efficiency.OK, so you have absorbed those statistics. Pretty impressive, huh?Now get ready to have your mind blown. Drummond has done all of the above despite ranking 171 in the league in minutes per game at a meager 19.7.
His per 36 mins stats are impressive, 13 points, 13 rebounds, 3 blocks, and 1.5 steals
The Pistons really need a scorer. There has been talk about the Grizzlies looking to deal Rudy Gay. A nucleus of Rudy, Drummond, and Monroe is solid.

Gay is far too expensive for what he brings to the table.

Pistons do need a scorer, but I don't think Rudy Gay is the answer. Besides, I don't think Detroit wants to break-up the core of Monroe, Drummond, and Knight. Hopefully, Detroit has a good enough core now that a free agent scorer would consider signing here for a fair price. I'm not sure who might be available this offseason.

I hope the Warriors get that arena in downtown SF. The artist renderings are awesome. Just a short walk from AT&T too!
Curry's shooting motion/release time has got to be one of the quickest in the league. Even in slow motion the ball is out of his hand in an instant.

Why isn't Devin Harris getting any minutes in ATL? Has he really fallen off so much that Jannero freaking Pargo is going to keep him off the court?

We are supposed to get something positive for the Lakers out of that article?
Of course. Kobe admitted he played like #### on offense and got abused by Calderon and the legendary Landry Fields on defense. In case you didn't know, that makes you a glue guy in Lakerland.
Skrubs read articles like he reads stats. Maybe he should pull out a Bible.

Lakers down by 10, but they look a lot worse. They just look ugly and awful. I can't recall ever seeing a team with more talent on paper playing this poorly. It truly is remarkable.

The bulls need Rose so bad. Gotts give coach and these guys credit though. They play really well together but just lack a go to offensive guy or play. The lakers look slow. Howard is misused.

Pau coming in after only playing 9 minutes so far. 9 minutes

Short minutes helped. Went 2/2 but with an airball on his 3rd

I don't know who wins tonight, and I don't know whose fault it is, but the top center in the game looks totally lost and out of place on this team. What a waste.

Hinrich on fire. Howard with 5 fouls with 5 minutes left. Bryant ice cold from beyond the arc. Gasol goes back into shell. Pretty much explains it all.

It's raining 3's for CHI! :lmao:
Kobe was 7 of 23 and hasn't made a shot outside of 11 feet from the basket. He's about 0 for 12 from beyond 11 feet. Why is he taking so many shots when his jumper is off and his team-mates are shooting pretty well?

Apologies if a repost...

Lakers coach Mike D'Antoni benches Pau Gasol permanently

Coach Mike D'Antoni announced Monday night that Pau Gasol, a former All-Star and two-time NBA champion with the Lakers, has been benched, effective immediately, for forward Earl Clark.

The move is considered permanent.

Oof. I'm not much of a Gasol guy, but this is a trainwreck

I don't understand why suddenly Gasol cannot play the 4. He played it pretty successfully during the last 3-4 seasons. Why does he struggle more with Howard than he did with Bynum?

Just a reminder in case anyone forgot: if the Lakers don't make the playoffs, the first round pick goes to Phoenix as part of the Nash trade. What an absolute ####### calamity this has been.

No triangle. Howard needs the ball in different situations. Bad half court offense. Kobe jacking too many shots. Nash not running enough killing his rhythm.

The whole team isn't shooting well. Plus if you have Howard go 2-5 the whole night, you're gonna have problems. Outside of Nash and Bryant, who else can make shots? Clark had a decent game, but also made some bonehead plays. Nash is the only guy who is in the positive from 3 point range going 2-3, with everybody else in brickland. Bryant's shots weren't poor shots save only a couple like the 3 point prayer attempt to beat the 3rd quarter buzzer. Poor ball movement, bad defense, no power in the paint, Howard being a non factor..Bryant led the team in minutes again, with Butler from CHI being around 2 minutes more than Bryant. Bryant has 15 more years in the league than Butler. Yet they still can't keep Bryant out because it would just get worse.

Great example of "Mamba time" tonight Tommy?
He made shots that either tied the game or got a lead. We were here the whole time watching it. Where were you?
I was watching it. Did he make any shots in the 4th?
You were watching it. Why ask?
I didn't exactly keep score for myself. He was absolutely terrible though, I can assure you of that.
So you didn't watch the game. You don't have to front. Just admit you didn't watch the game.
