interesting game. SA had chances down the stretch but couldn't convert on good looks. green missed a wide open three. parker and manu short armed shots. good game by W's but i felt like SA had the momentum.

Yeah, for one quarter.

Curry's making some real bad decisions in Q4. Bad passes, not trying to find a decent shot, it seems like he's just trying to make circus shots. There's also no point in GSW trying to slow the game down until they get to the very end, until then it makes sense to just keep doing what got you there.

But, a nice win. And I don't doubt that GSW is fully aware that this isn't a fools' errand, they've got a legit shot here.

Hate to say it, but Lee going out was a blessing. They look a lot better with Green/Barnes at the "4." If there was some way that GS could flip Lee's contract and somehow grab Iggy, I'd be a happy camper.

And what's sad is Miami really doesn't have passionate fans. I would have liked to not see that as a poster for the Heat, pretty unclassy move but fans do it in many cities around the country. Curry is sensational and has had a great year.

Parker - 20 / 3 / 7.6 for the 2 seed.

I can definitely see the argument. I think the AS selection was probably pretty easy on reserves because Westbrook and Parker "arrived" a few years ago and Curry came in to it this year. It should be a non-issue next year as Kobe should miss the AS game.

Exactly, Curry played like an all star but it just so happens that five players played significantly better through the first half.

As for how they are a 6th seed, Bogut was hurt the entire season and he has been incredible so far in the playoffs, plus players like Green and Barnes decided the playoffs were a good time to start playing real basketball. Green shot like 30% from the field and 20% from 3 in the regular season and hes shooting 50 and 50 in the playoffs.

I'm with Buck now- how they hell did they lose 35? Defense isn't bad once adjusted for tempo.

They sit top 10 for pretty every team stat (defense 13th). Best defensive rebounding team in the league (shocked to see that). Their O/D efficiency has them at +1.6 PP/100.

A break here or there and they are a 50 win team.

GSW looks great as long as they are making the shots. Curry has been on a terrific run of late. Klay was just unbelievable during the game with his 3-point shooting. SAS hasn't had nearly as much success from the perimeter over the course of an entire game. If SAS can get warmed up early and sustain the focus for all four quarters then they can win game 3. It'll be a great game three.

I don't think the Warriors could beat Memphis in a 7 game series. The Griz have answers on D for all the Ws mainstays and I think Green/Landry taking Randolph out to the perimeter when the Ws have the ball won't make up for what Randolph/Gasol will do to them when the Griz have the ball.

The last month or so of the season, they looked old and slow. They somehow managed to win some games here and there but, overall, they did not finish the season well. I think they have some talent but, overall, are getting a bit long in the tooth. Athletic teams definitely give them trouble. Defensive breakdowns were common. Against GS, a defensive breakdown is likely a three point mistake. And shooting for them is way to inconsistent outside of Parker and Duncan. I think they may win one more, but I think they go down 4-2 in the series. I may be wrong, and would be pleasantly surprised if that was the case. But I predicted a second round loss for them going in and, though I thought it would be to Denver, I haven't really seen anything to make me change my mind.

I basically agree with you. GS has looked like the better team to me between the two for the last few months, and the best team almost always wins these 7 game series in the NBA. I think throttling a derelict Laker team made people forget about how SA had been doing recently.

Right now it seems like the only thing really stopping GS in this series is themselves. They're a young team so that may happen enough that it costs them the series, but SA has to step up their play if they're going to be able to take advantage.

I'm surprised Pop didn't force falling into the bonus early in the 4th to try and work more hack a Bogut. SA seems way more productive when Bogut is off the court.

Hard to say they're a better team w/o Lee, but Barnes/Green have certainly stepped up. Barnes may never be a superstar, but I love the guy's game. Going to be a very good player for a long time. I personally wouldn't even consider dealing Lee [with Bogut's injury history], but they'll have no shortage of suitors for Lee if they dealt him. He'd be an absolutely ideal fit in Houston. Bogut's only got 1 more year on his deal. No telling with his injury history how he's gonna look a year from now. The only way I'd even consider dealing Lee is if they somehow got rid of Jefferson in the process. That moron may end up costing them Jack. Still can't believe they dealt Stephen Jackson for an extra year of Jefferson. Jefferson was done BEFORE he even signed that new deal in San Antonio. I couldn't believe SA gave him that money and was even more shocked that someone else took on that deal. JMO I think they'll miss Lee's body down low if they play Memphis.

I wouldn't think the Rockets would want anything to do with Lee. Seems like playing him with Asik would hamper a lot of what they like to do on offense. .

I disagree. He would be fine on Houston except that his defense is so bad. That said, the Rockets got essentially nothing from the PF spot all year. Having someone who could rebound and score a bit would be a great thing. I'd prefer Josh Smith at the position but Lee would be a definite upgrade.

Hard to say they're a better team w/o Lee, but Barnes/Green have certainly stepped up. Barnes may never be a superstar, but I love the guy's game. Going to be a very good player for a long time. I personally wouldn't even consider dealing Lee [with Bogut's injury history], but they'll have no shortage of suitors for Lee if they dealt him. He'd be an absolutely ideal fit in Houston. Bogut's only got 1 more year on his deal. No telling with his injury history how he's gonna look a year from now. The only way I'd even consider dealing Lee is if they somehow got rid of Jefferson in the process. That moron may end up costing them Jack. Still can't believe they dealt Stephen Jackson for an extra year of Jefferson. Jefferson was done BEFORE he even signed that new deal in San Antonio. I couldn't believe SA gave him that money and was even more shocked that someone else took on that deal. JMO I think they'll miss Lee's body down low if they play Memphis.

I disagree. He would be fine on Houston except that his defense is so bad. That said, the Rockets got essentially nothing from the PF spot all year. Having someone who could rebound and score a bit would be a great thing. I'd prefer Josh Smith at the position but Lee would be a definite upgrade.

Obviously Lee is a better player than whoever the Rockets have at the 4 I just don't see that working out for them. The whole offense is drive and kick with tons of threes. Kelvin Sampson has said that the elbow is a no-fly zone for them on offense. Lee is a really one-sided player, I can't see Morey going for him given his salary.

Really couldn't disagree more with you here. Lee has the midrange game that wouldn't clog the lane for Harden driving. Given Asik is stationed down low 99% of the time.

He's easily worth the $14.5 mil/year he's owed for the next 3 seasons. He's absolutely perfect for Houston. Lee would immediately become the 3rd best available player on the market this offseason (Paul/Howard).

Lee is a better player than Smith. Better shooter (field & line), better rebounder, better contract, And you don't have to worry about Lee taking contested 20 foot jumpers throughout the game. Contrary to belief, Josh Smith is not a good defender and not much better than Lee. Smith would benefit Houston, but give me Lee every day of the week.

Nope you didn't misinterpret.

There's a reason ATL has no intention of re-signing Josh Smith. The guy hasn't improved {regressed more than anything] and continues to take his mind boggling contested 20 footers. Someone will pay him a huge contract (really wouldn't shock me if he got near max from someone]. The guy isn't a good 1st or 2nd option on a good team.

The best of luck whoever invests in him this summer with the thinking that a 28 year old will finally buy into the team concept.
