I'm starting to feel a little gypped as an NBA fan. While there have been and will be some great NBA match-ups, we really missed out on what should have been a great Lebron vs. Wade rivalry.

Wade got his ring then the Heat quit trying. Instead of allowing Wade to go toe-to-toe with Lebron, they ducked him for years in the hopes of bringing him in, which they did. It all makes sense now, knowing Lebron and Wade liked each other too much to ever be great rivals, but it would've been great to see if they had it in them.

I know these '03 kids just don't have that old-school hate in them, but hopefully, Carmelo will choose a place were a good rivalry with the Heat can emerge. (Then again, Riley could have more tricks up his sleeve).

Oh well. We should've appreciated Kobe more. Who knows how long it'll be before we see true killer in the NBA again, if ever.

I do wish that LeBron, Kobe, Wade, Paul, Durant, and Howard were all on separate teams but on talented teams so some of the conference semi-finals series are must watch games. I think those are the best players in the league and not sure if Anthony belongs but if not I know he is close.I think the semi-finals in the East could be good things to watch if the Heat have problems since it could be the Magic, Bulls, Celtics, and Heat. But there is a chance the Heat are too good for a 7 game series to happen at that point. The chance that I must watch semi-finals in West will depend on OKC, Denver, and Portland improving and possibly the Lakers falling a little.

Bought a pair at this price on a promotion 4 years ago and they haven't touch the price. They are upper deck seats, but they usually give me $200-$300 in credit per seat to upgrade to certain games. We also have a free ticket exchange program so I can move the weeknight seats to weekends (non tier one games) and get as many seats as I like. If I chose to sell Kobe and Lebron seats plus a couple of other games, I basically cover the cost of the seats.Seat price roughly $4.75. Parking $5. Beer $7, $3 on some weeknights.

We're upper deck too. Our price per seat just went up to $30 a game. Parking is $10 at an independent parking lot several blocks away. Beer is about the same though. The Bobcats' payroll is about 1/2 of the Lakers' after the luxury tax, right? How the #### are the Bobcats still in business?

We drink a lot of beer???Keep in mind that you out draw us by 3 to 1 also. The Bobcats actaully hired people to go door to door to sell tickets in the last year.

I would think Cleveland and Toronto are actually very comparable in this regard.I'm assuming football is #1 in Cleveland (I could be wrong), like Hockey is #1 in Toronto. Neither the Browns or Leafs are loaded with superstars, and the guys who could fit that role are relatively new in town, so while the teams are most popular, they don't have the moat popular athlete.

Likewise, the Indians and Blue Jays have good players but no larger than life figures (because when they get a player of that status, he just signs with the Yankees).

So, Bosh being the big fish on the Raptors and LeBron on the Cavs are comparable in their status in the city. LBJ obviously is way better, way more known internationally, and is good enough that he elevated the Cavs status in Cleveland in a way Bosh couldn't in Toronto.
