so true. How many MVP votes does Lebron get from playing multiple positions: Winderman on LebronI was just looking at Lebron and Wade's stats. On a per 36 basis, it is amazing how similar they are (besides a nice edge in rebounds by Lebron).

Is Kobe over 50% from the field?LA 81Clev 31 mid-way through the 3rd. I don't ever remember a beat down like this.
Cleveland is a very, very bad team. One win in their last 20 games. But yea, I'm not sure I remember a score as lopsided as that.LA 81Clev 31 mid-way through the 3rd. I don't ever remember a beat down like this.

I mentioned this speculation a few pages ago. Rose and WWW want the trade so they can make money off a Melo extension. It doesn't make any sense that Melo would want to play for a bad NJ team with an unhappy Billups and a rapidly declining Rip.I still think nothing will happen here and Melo will play the year out with the Nuggets. The saga continues latest tweet from Chris Broussarden, NJ, Det could be working feverishly for nothing. Sources say Melo has never told anyone, not even his reps, he's willing to sign in NJ
1-19 since the Miami game. Forget doubling their win total, will they break the double digit win barrier by year's end? My personal opinion on this team has been it's amongst the worst assembly of talent in NBA history. Maybe the Heat cheerleading squad will have some openings next year. Seems a few of them would prefer scoring brownie points with Lebron than points for an NBA team.Random question (and I'll be interested to take a look after the season): Will Cleveland double their current win total (7) by the end of the regular season??? If so, how many wins total do you project by year's end?I'm surprised they've won 7 so far. Cast of mediocre bit players (to put it kindly) that I believe had any confidence shattered by the Heat game.

Nobody could be this stupid. It has to be a deliberate attempt by LeBron or his people or the league to turn him into a Villain again. There's been waning attention paid to the Heat since they turned it on. Someone has realized that people love to hate the guy, and watching him and the team win at or above rate that most predicted and act like professionals is bad for business. He's such a dickbag.KingJames: Crazy. Cavs owner opened himself for this type of criticism when he let his emotions get the best of him after Lebron's departure.God read your tweet, LeBoob. But it's Cleveland and Gilbert who can't get over this guy and let it go, right? Seems like he's paying more attention to us than we are to him. It's January 2011. Should he really still care? Was karma not fulfilled after the Heat drubbing of the Cavs in December? Although, like Tobias stated, this could just be Maverick and the gang marketing like geniuses, well sorta.KingJames: Crazy. Karma is a b****.. Gets you every time. Could you please turn into a distant memory? The subtitle of this thread refers to a pretty distant memory by now...
I love him as a player and he has tons of potential. I think he'll develop into a more athletic version of Bruce Bowen. The Nuggs don't want him to be the face of the franchise, just a building block for the future wtih Lawson, Afflalo, Nene and hopefully Favors.Supposedley Denver Nuggets are really high on Batum from Blazers. I have watched this kid play a couple of times and while he definetly has potential I am stumped why Denver would want him as the face of thier franchise. Any ideas?
I prefer Wilson Chandler (over Batum) who is only 23 years of age, the only downside to Chandler is that he is in the last year of his contract and will be getting a substantial pay raise in the future so for a franchise rebuilding I can see why Chandler would have such little value.I love him as a player and he has tons of potential. Batum is nearly the athlete Chandler is, he's younger, has shown more defensive potential on a wide range of positions and has a much nicer shooting stroke. If I was looking for a 3 I hoped would be a 20ppg scorer I would go with Chandler but I could see Batum as a first team all defense while shooting 50% from the field and 40% from 3 and scoring 18ppg. Plus he's cheaper.I prefer Wilson Chandler (over Batum) who is only 23 years of age, the only downside to Chandler is that he is in the last year of his contract and will be getting a substantial pay raise in the future so for a franchise rebuilding I can see why Chandler would have such little value.I love him as a player and he has tons of potential. Cleveland was 30-8 last year at this point. This year they are 8-30.Stay classy King James. It's unfortunate that Varejao is gone for the season and Mo Williams has missed a month. The Cavs record is going to be historically bad and naive fans will argue that James made a 50 win difference.
Seems like he is worth just about 50 games to me.He was hitting right around 50/40 last year and was doing close to that the first 20 games of the year this year but has played horribly the last month.Wake me when he actually does thatBatum is nearly the athlete Chandler is, he's younger, has shown more defensive potential on a wide range of positions and has a much nicer shooting stroke. How many games are Dwayne Wade and Chris Bosh worth?Cleveland was 30-8 last year at this point. If you put Wade on Cleveland. Probably 40 games. If you put Bosh on Cleveland. 10 games.Mr. PadresLakers said:How many games are Dwayne Wade and Chris Bosh worth?the moops said:Cleveland was 30-8 last year at this point. If it makes you happy, if you put Kobe on Cleveland he would be worth as many wins as Wade, IMO...but not as many as Lebron.Seeing that last year the Heat went 47-35 with pretty much the same roster sans LBJ and Bosh it looks like those two combined are worth < 30 wins.Mr. PadresLakers said:How many games are Dwayne Wade and Chris Bosh worth?the moops said:Cleveland was 30-8 last year at this point. How many wins is Lebron worth to the Heat and why has he taken such a step back in his play in his physical prime?Seems like we should have some sort of separate thread that discusses their relative worth to one another. If it makes you happy, if you put Kobe on Cleveland he would be worth as many wins as Wade, IMO...but not as many as Lebron.
You realize that you can't just add the numbers, right?I have no dog in this fight, because I really don't care - but it seems rather obvious to me that they're still only playing with one basketball.I just love the math
Lets assume that Heat match the win record of 08 Cavs (66-16) and 2010 LeBron isn't significantly worse than 2008 LeBron
2010 Dwayne Wade win factor + 2010 Lebron James win factor + 2010 Chris Bosh win factor = 2008 Lebron James win factor + (a bunch of scrubs)
As I have said before there are only three options here
1. 2010 LeBron <<<< 2008 LeBron
2. Wade + Bosh = "a bunch of scrubs"
3. The 08-10 Cavs supporting cast is criminally underrated.
There's also the fourth option that wins don't correlate one for one with quality of the players.I just love the math
Lets assume that Heat match the win record of 08 Cavs (66-16) and 2010 LeBron isn't significantly worse than 2008 LeBron
2010 Dwayne Wade win factor + 2010 Lebron James win factor + 2010 Chris Bosh win factor = 2008 Lebron James win factor + (a bunch of scrubs)

Why not? That's the entire idea of win shares. Otherwise you are just picking numbers out of the sky.You realize that you can't just add the numbers, right?I have no dog in this fight, because I really don't care - but it seems rather obvious to me that they're still only playing with one basketball.I just love the math
