*NBA THREAD* Abe will be missed (20 Viewers)

Bosh was horrible all game, and then they decide to put him on Dirk? That was some bad defense on last possession. Why not put Anthony in?
Why not double Dirk and try to make him give up the rock?If you are Miami you want ANYONE except Dirk taking that last shot

Image of this series could very well end up being Wade begging for a foul and falling down after his last second heave misses...I never realized just how much of a whiner he was.

If you're Miami, it doesn't matter who you put on Dirk...you should have fouled him as soon as he made a move to the basket.

Miami half-court offense is abysmal. Once Dallas stopped turning it over, they didn't know how to score.

Oh, and Bosh is horrible.

I have to give James credit on the second to last possession for the Heat. That was great recognition of Chalmers being open. Why Chalmers was that wide open I don't know. But those of you who always want to criticize LeBron, that was a great play.

Yes, that's what I took from this game as well.

 That's not what I took from this game. I was just making a comment about that play. The fact that the Heat ultimately lost doesn't mean it wasn't a great play by LeBron in a clutch moment.

I don't remember Shawn Marion playing quite this well during his stint in Miami. Terrific game by Wade and another bad one by Bosh. But Bosh's mid-range jumper will return before the series is over. However, on his drives to the basket, Bosh is finding it tougher versus Dallas than Chicago because the Mav's big men are better than the Bull's big men.

Hat's off to Dallas. A fantastic comeback and one for the ages in NBA finals history.

I love Jon Barry taking the opportunity to call the series for Dallas in the post game. What a total tool. That guy is praying Miami never wins a title.

Miami will take at least one game in Dallas and bring the series back to Miami not a single doubt in my mind.

2 great teams slugging it out. Miami relaxed and it gave a game away tonight. Dallas took the bull by the horns and took advantage. We were chucking up way to many threes tonight.

He found a guy who was wide open by 20 feet. Is that good?

On the other side of the court? With a perfectly timed pass? I say yes.

Jon Barry needs to ####.

Yeah they are the team they were back in in November and December...they can't close games yada yada yada.

Holy christ man....your a tool.

10 straight home playoff wins. They have played one true stinker in the entire post season. GIVE ME A BREAK with your schtick.

The Heat will answer as early as Sunday night.

33% of the league can make that play imo. Just takes a guy who has the combination of decent passing skills and the balls to throw it that far on an inbound. I'd say that roughly 1 in 3 NBA players fit that criteria imo.

He's a little late for that. He has had Dallas winning the series from the start though.
Yeah I think he picked Boston, then Chicago and now Dallas. The guy is an ### like the rest of his family.
Were you one of the guys throwing cups at Barkley?
Mmmmm no. Venting on a message board is about as far as I would go. LOL.

LeBron plays great in game after game and you guys stay silent. Then Miami loses and all the doubters come out. Pathetic.

I think Dallas is going to win this series- IF Dirk is healthy. There may be something wrong with him, I'm not sure. But even if Dallas does win, that takes nothing away from the greatness of LeBron James. He is the best player in the NBA, and one of the best ever.

Yeah if Lebron loses this the can't win the big one label will gather lots of steam.

I was rooting so hard for the Mavs especially after that Lebron and Wade punching chests thing up 15

This simply is not true. If they blow this series, He would have to jump through Herculean hoops to regain his "greatness".
Yeah...his legacy would never recover if he lost a series to on of the ten best players of all time...

Lol who is that?

Have to love the fact that LeBron and Wade et al were celebrating more with 4 minutes left than the Mavericks were after the win. But it's ultimately that arrogance that did them in. LeBron being arrogant, reverting to his Cleveland form and running down the clock and settling for terrible 3's near the end of the game that opened the door for the Mavs. Thanks, LeBron!

The amazing thing is that Dallas played so poorly offensively (turnovers, poor shooting from Dirk and Terry for most of the game) and they still won. They have to be extremely encouraged.

:goodposting: That arrogance they showed was absurd. It reminded me of their preseason celebration. Go Dallas!
