Toronto would be all over that even with Lee being useless for them... Boston wouldn't even think about it.What about Courtney Lee and Rondo for Lowry and Bargnani?Celtics continue their outside-prayer of making the playoffs and Raptors add some talent for next year and beyond...
Monroe looks like a good one. Should be a top 10 center for years to come. Him and Drummond are a great front court to build around.Knight... not so much.Out of curiosity, around the league, what are the thoughts on Greg Monroe and Brandon Knight?
This. I think that absent a big star, the only way to compete with OKC and Miami is going to be through defense and not surrendering the lane. Indiana seems to understand this and other teams are likely to follow suit. Clog the middle with athletic, long players that can minimize the other teams easy buckets and rebounds and then hope for the best. NOt sure Detroit is going to be a contender anytime soon, but Drummond and Monroe should be able to keep them out of the lottery for a while.Monroe looks like a good one. Why not Jennings??'Juxtatarot said:It will be interesting to see who takes Rondo's spot on the All-Star team. They might end up replacing a PG with a C and let Brook in. It's not like the East needs a lot of PGs in the game -- LeBron and Melo will dominate the ball regardless.
I think Lopez and even Pierce are more deserving. Why not Jennings??'Juxtatarot said:It will be interesting to see who takes Rondo's spot on the All-Star team. What is it about Knight that makes him such a big disappoinment? This. Calderon is much more deserving as well. The only thing Jennings has over him is team record.I think Lopez and even Pierce are more deserving. Why not Jennings??'Juxtatarot said:It will be interesting to see who takes Rondo's spot on the All-Star team. Nothing. He will just never much more than average IMO. Decent all round but not really great at anything. What is it about Knight that makes him such a big disappoinment? This. On paper, there appear to be too many undersized guards on that team eating into each other's minutes. What is it about Knight that makes him such a big disappoinment? This. He's a 14ppg guard that rebounds poorly and doesn't distribute really well. He's definitely a rotation player, but he would never be any more than the 3rd or 4th best contributor on a playoff team. What is it about Knight that makes him such a big disappoinment? This. I'll give Knight another season, but he's almost like Stuckey in that he's more of a 2-1 combo guard than a 1-2. He's still young though so there's still a chance he could be good. I think he's a rotation player for sure and probably a starting PG (mid-tier PG), but I don't think he's an All*Star in the making. On paper, there appear to be too many undersized guards on that team eating into each other's minutes. What is it about Knight that makes him such a big disappoinment? This. Now if only they could hold double digit leads and close out games...•Over the last 20 games, no offense in the league has been more efficient than that of the Raptors, who have scored at an absurd rate of 109.4 points per 100 possessions. Of course, it makes complete sense that Toronto has been able to produce that onslaught with a roster only marginally upgraded from the one that ranked 29th in offensive efficiency a season ago.• Also worth noting: Toronto has posted the seventh best net rating (pace-adjusted point differential) over that same span, smack dab between the beloved Warriors and the resurgent Pacers. That’s almost solely because of their offense, but that the Raptors had been prolific enough on either side of the floor to rank as one of the best teams in the league for so lengthy a stretch is in itself incredible.
Wager on the game today good buddy? My link

Just caught this and found it fascinating. I want to have sympathy for the kid, but the way he's operating makes it pretty difficult. I wonder if he also suffers from delusions of grandeur as well expecting the Rocket's organization to cave to all his bizarre demands. For those of you with HBO, Real Sports had a segment on Royce White tonight.
Such a weird story. :(

While I think there is a good chance Toronto wins, I don't bet people on forums.Scoring for both teamsYou can't stop Aaron Gray. You can only hope to contain him.
I didn't care who won, but that was a bad end to a good game.Nuggets just won because of two bull#### calls in the last 2 seconds of the game.![]()
Wouldn't have been close if the refs hadn't swallowed their whistles for most of the 4th quarter.Nuggets just won because of two bull#### calls in the last 2 seconds of the game.![]()
It was awfully officiated but the Iggy foul/no call followed with a very ticky tacky foul on a lob with a half second left really stuck out. Whatever, I'll happily take it.Wouldn't have been close if the refs hadn't swallowed their whistles for most of the 4th quarter.Nuggets just won because of two bull#### calls in the last 2 seconds of the game.![]()

At least the site remembers your language settings. So the nba.com homepage gives me 7 scores from yesterday's games, and one score from today's games. They actually make me scroll to the right in order to see the rest of today's scores? So ####### dumb.
Gasol with 6, Kobe with 5.Kind of fun to watch when players share the ball, eh tommy?Lakers with 17 assists on 20 first half FGs.

The Lakers are also playing much better on defense. And Steve Blake is a MAJOR improvement on Duhon.Gasol with 6, Kobe with 5.Kind of fun to watch when players share the ball, eh tommy?Lakers with 17 assists on 20 first half FGs.![]()
i grew up playing in a motion offense, so by nature ball movement and cutting is what i enjoy watching the most. of course winning trumps any offense, and Kobe is the ultimate winner, so iso has been fine with me as long as it works.Gasol with 6, Kobe with 5.Kind of fun to watch when players share the ball, eh tommy?Lakers with 17 assists on 20 first half FGs.![]()
Your post is the one that's hilarious.Ultimate winner = under .500 this season Gold.

It's bizarre to me that he's even on a roster still.Great player in college, too. I can only imagine the rumors about him partying are why he's gone from being a great PG in college to being dog food in the NBA.The Lakers are also playing much better on defense. Why would the Suns want a year and a half of Gasol?I realize the lakers have win three straight games for the first time in a while and everyone is dreaming of skittles and unicorns as the team "comes together.". But there is simply no way they can keep gasol at this point, right? It's almost like dantoni is trying to make him snap so they can justify trading one of the best offensive post player in the league. I suppose getting out of gasol's contract would be a big win for them at this point. But it is baffling that he is not factoring in to the offense. :Scola-Martin-trade machine activated:Suns get gasolLakers get frye, Beasley, Marshall.
To get rid of Beasley and maybe win a few more games. Drastic, Dudley, gortat, and gasol shouldn't be awful. Why would the Suns want a year and a half of Gasol?I realize the lakers have win three straight games for the first time in a while and everyone is dreaming of skittles and unicorns as the team "comes together.".
