Well you are doing a good job of confusing me if that was your point. I give him "props" which just furthers me being a hater. So if I don't give him props, am I not a hater? I just can't win these days. I admit I am critical of LeBron sure, but I also recognize that he is a great player who is capable of great things. When he plays poorly, I'll say as much and when he plays well, I'll say as much. I'd say you are more sympathetic than I am a hater but then again, apparently giving props makes you a hater.
The fact that you felt the need to give him props, and that you did so kind of grudgingly, is why I think you're a hater. He was flat out awesome in Game 4. And I also think you don't account for the external variables that go into his game- the kind of defense the opponents throw at him, what his teammates are doing and how that affects the defense he faces, and so on. He was passive in Game 3, but if you check out
that article I linked, the Spurs' unusual approach to defending him in that game played a large part of that. And as I said in an earlier post, I also think the fact that the Spurs were so incredible offensively that the Heat got relatively few transition opportunities also played a part in that. Those are two things that are mostly out of his control. BTW I edited my previous post by the way because I thought it came off as a little toolish and smug. If you saw it pre-edit, I apologize.
