Rewound and watched again. Among the most cringe-worthy injuries I've ever seen. Terrible.Ouch! Paul George's injury in scrimmage looks terrible.

Didn't see it and don't want to but is it worse than the Kevin Ware injury?Rewound and watched again. Among the most cringe-worthy injuries I've ever seen. Terrible.Ouch! Paul George's injury in scrimmage looks terrible.
A little different because he was moving. Only saw the replay once but it looked like the Livingston injury to me. Damn shameDidn't see it and don't want to but is it worse than the Kevin Ware injury?Rewound and watched again. Among the most cringe-worthy injuries I've ever seen. Terrible.Ouch! One of those when the leg is bent in such an obviously unnatural way that you instantly know something is seriously wrong.Didn't see it and don't want to but is it worse than the Kevin Ware injury?Rewound and watched again. Speed and athleticism looked fine and had some nice highlight type plays. A little sloppy with turnovers in the second half.I forgot this was on, anyone watch the whole thing? Live blogs saying Rose looked great, yea/nay?
It was like the Ware injury but against the padding so maybe that makes it better? Livingston injury was much higher and blew out his whole knee. This seemed more shin high ankle. So maybe it's better?Didn't see it and don't want to but is it worse than the Kevin Ware injury?Rewound and watched again. Among the most cringe-worthy injuries I've ever seen. Terrible.Ouch! Man, hate to see that happen to a player. But you are right, Pacers might be worst team in the East now.Pacers
Yup. Wonder how many milliseconds after this happened that the bookmakers reacted. They must just shut down for a while when something like this happens, eh?Pacers

Just flipped it on and saw the stretcher and thought for sure Rose was hurt again.
Apparently when they said they would only show it once. They meant once every commercial break.ESPN showing the injury every time they come back from commercial. Shame on them.
I hate ESPN and its personalities in general but I'm conflicted on this one. They only showed the Kevin Ware injury once, but George is a superstar. This is HUGE news. They give a sufficient warning before airing the clip. Hard to fault them here.ESPN showing the injury every time they come back from commercial. Shame on them.
Rose has to be even sicker than everyone else. It was his careless, sloppy turnover which led to the break the other way.Just flipped it on and saw the stretcher and thought for sure Rose was hurt again.![]()
Looked like a broken tib/fib. If it was clean, he'll have a long rehab, but might be decent again. I think the biggest concerns are infection if open, problems with bone re growth or just a very complicated fracture (multiple breaks in a bone).I've heard of NFL lineman, linebackers... Come back from breaks like this, but any elite athlete whose game is built on stop and start movements that put very high tension on the leg bones, muscles, and ligaments/tendons are rarely ever the same.If it is bone only he can recover, it will just take a long time. If there are other issues though...

sounds rightNow they are blaming it on the stanchion being so close on that court in Vegas. It's much farther back in NBA arenas. Speculation is that going on instincts, he didn't expect anything to be there when he came down.

If true then it could have been one of anyone out there tonight, just happened to be George. Now they are blaming it on the stanchion being so close on that court in Vegas. Livingston was the worst I can remember. He basically blew out every piece of connective tissue in his knee so his lower leg was hanging on by skin. Daunte Culpepper had the same injury, but his "looked" far less serious.Don't think I've ever seen an in-game injury this bad to an NBA player. I go back to Magic and Bird entering the league.
Good point. That was awful. This one reminded me of Theismann.Livingston was the worst I can remember.
