If I had to put them in order...

1) Florida (40%)

2) Kentucky (25%)

3) Wisconsin (20%)

4) UConn (15%)

I see Florida as being much better then the rest.
they have the best team but talent wise i might put them 4th
Only UK has any projected first-rounders in the upcoming draft.
And they have 4.
Sure. On next Sunday, they can focus on their NBA careers because their college basketball careers will be over. :)

It's easy to lose interest with my Wolverines now out ...but Florida-UConn and Wisconsin-Kentucky don't really excite me much. I didn't realize Florida's last loss was to ..UConn.
Really? I think this is the best Final Four in at least 7 years.
Some people are never happy. Plus he's a Michigan fan.
There's that. I suppose it ties to Good Posting Judge's point just above - Kentucky has some uniquely talented individuals. The other three teams are more about the quality of the team's play (although Napier is certainly distinguishing himself). That could/should make for some very good basketball, but the teams don't get me too fired up. It's an interesting angle to see if Florida can exact some revenge on UConn and, possibly, Wisconsin in the final.
I'm not saying it's the best Final Four ever but this tournament has been exciting. I'm a UK fan but it still looks to be an exciting Final Four to me.
We may say this every year, but there have been tons of great games this year. Maybe I am watching more because shockingly UConn is still in it. I'll definitely watch both games next week. I'm just glad UConn is on early so my boys can watch it. No way they would be able to make it to the end of the late game.
I'll be glad when my kids get old enough to enjoy them. I've already got my 2yo daughter yelling "Yes!" when I do. I went nuts when Harrison hit that 3 and made her start crying, though.

The first time she calls a ref a "mother ####er" will be the proudest day of your life.

I think one key in the Wisconsin game coming up is to keep Kentucky off the boards. Keep them to one shot and that is it. Shot goes up, box your guy out. Double teams need to come from the perimeter and not from underneath. Discipline is going to factor in huge. Can the young guys play that way on Kentucky? Can Wisconsin hold them to one? We all know where this is going. If Wisconsin can hold to one shot with as close to zero transition points again...

Bet the house on Wisconsin.

My niece got T'ed up for muttering "you're missing a great game, ref" under her breath while lining up for a free throw. She was 10 at the time. Her coach was horrified. I was impressed.

LOL. It really is just my little guy, he loves watching any games. My oldest is more into watching because he had to fill out a bracket for one of his classes. My middle son likes baseball and the Miami Heat, but isn't as interested in teams he doesn't care about. I love UConn, but they aren't on much in NC and to be honest, the Final Four was not where I expected them to be. Unfortunately for me, I think I will end up with UNC or Duke fans, which is not a good thing. Damn ACC expansion. I'll bet they sure are glad they brought in Rutgers, Pitt and BC. I mean it wasn't like MSG was cheering for UConn or that UConn has at least been to a BCS bowl game in football.

Rutgers joining big 10, not ACC.

Think Napier may have worked his way into the bottom 10 of the 1st.
Really? He's too small, and not quick enough. Reminds me of a thinner El-Amin. Dominant in college, but his length and quickness hurt him.

I know it's been said, but not enough has been made of the committee's stupid decision to stuff Louisville, KY, Michigan, and Wichita St. in the same bracket. This was not a random draw, guys.

Just awful. Kind of a travesty. All four of those teams are Final Four teams.

eta* I mean, the best game of the tournament, both talent-wise, and execution-wise is in the Round of 32 and you think you've done a good job?

Argh. Worse than the BCS.

Wildcats are undefeated since I've been on vacation in Hawaii. I've never been superstitious before, but I might just have to stay here for a little longer!!!

4 really good games for the Cats in this tournament against 4 really good teams that all played really well. It's not like they caught any of these guys on an off night.

Big credit to Cal for not pulling Harrison when he picked up that 4th foul with a little under 5 minutes to play. He immediately knocked down a 3, and then maybe another big shot or 2 :moneybag:

:wall: I can't keep track of all the defections.

Ur telling me CBS has something better to air this Saturday?
What station is it on?
all on cable this year
Huh? I watched both games on CBS today.
Final Four and Championship won't be on CBS though....I think he's talking about those games coming up.
Championship game is on CBS
odd....the schedule on my DTv box says 247, but on their page it says CBS. :oldunsure:

Final Four games are on TBS this Saturday. Championship game is on CBS on Monday.

Great game by the Cats yesterday. Marcus Lee and Aaron Harrison coming up huge.

UConn really fed off the crowd at MSG yesterday, that was a really loud crowd for a tourney game. I would of loved to see a Florida v Michigan St game, but UConn is deserving.

I hope we see UK v Florida for the 4th time this year with a different result however.

Tonight should be awesome.
I need to have UK, UConn, Mich and Mich State wins tonight, hey Dayton is in anything can happen.
Well I got all of those. Now I need Dayton (had Kansas), Mich State, Arizona, and Mich. I called Kentucky as my dark horse team which would be better if they won over Mich.
So okay I call 7/8 Elite 8 teams and then go 0/4 on final four games ouch and yikes. We get huge bonus points for selecting a 5th seed or higher to make it to the Final Four and beyond, so go wildcats!!

Can't like this enough.

Really sick of reading about UK being too big and too strong for Michigan. They were bigger and stronger, but that isn't what won them the game. Did the writers have their articles done before tipoff?

I know at the half that UK dominated the boards, so it's partially true but if Kentucky hadn't shot from three the way they did (uncharacteristically) it would have been different. They stepped up in an area where they've been terrible all year. Ignoring that does a severe injustice to the guys on the court IMO. They had to have shot over 60% from three yesterday.

I thought we were talking about the Final 4 (RE: "this Saturday" meaning the one coming up next)

games are on TBS with other homer coverage on TNT and TRU

no coverage on CBS until the final on Monday.

They dominated inside period. Michigan's interior defense was near embarrassing to watch.

All 7 of KY's made 3s were by Young and Aaron Harrison. Young is always a sharpshooter, so it's really only Harrison that had an unusually good game out there.

Actually both Harrisons shot a better 3 point % this year than Young. Those guys shoot 35%. UK was 63% on Sunday.

You have to remember, all the article writers are trying to change their narratives now too, from "UK's inexperience can't compete on the big stage," to "UK was a ticking timebomb of talent all along."

So there's that.

UK was too big and strong for Michigan on the inside yesterday, if they weren't able to do that the open 3's wouldn't have been there for UK to take and make. You usually shoot a better percentage with the more open look you have.

I'm surprised to see how low Young's season percentage is. He was 7/11 in three games against Florida so I was under the impression that he was a lot better.

So I stand corrected on that, but still UK only made 7 threes so it's not like it was some kind of barrage from the arc that beat Michigan.

UK had 17 Offensive Rebounds, 17 2nd chance points, 46 points in the paint. UK outrebounded Michigan overall 35-24 and UK had 6 blocked shots....That shows UK was too big and too strong down low for Michigan to handle.

Considering they had all of that going for them and they still had to hit a very difficult 3 for the win, I think that shows how well-coached UM is.

I watched a handful of Kentucky games this year, so I wasn't aware that Young was 38ish 40ish % from three as your "sharpshooter" label would suggest. All I knew is that Kentucky, as a team, was in the 38/39% shooting area with less than 70 attempts.

What was the Points in the Paint stat?
Hell, I'm afraid to look. It was brutal, but expected.

ETA: As I kept reading, those stats only confirm my thoughts....brutal. Somehow they only lost by a late 3? My silver lining is UM has Coach B
