If I'm a UK fan I'm never worried, these guys like getting down double digits just to calm themselves down.

They'll need to make their free throws in the second half though, that might be their undoing.

Should be a great second half. Usual ending to a UK first half. Fouls are going to catch up to Uconn.

Only time I get worried is at the end. Never worried in the first half. The bigs always wear down the opponent.

Did Napier pull something or tweak something when Harrison schooled him?

We'll find out. Not like him to throw up an airball like that from three.

Thankfully, our bigs have nothing to worry about in terms of foul trouble right now. Just hack and make sure they don't finish.

eta* Boatright, Daniels, and Brimah all have two. This -- Boatright and Daniels -- explains the run more than any hustle for 50/50 balls or #### like that.

I love the announcers going on and on about the switch to zone being the reason for Kentucky's run, and not that Daniels/Boatright were sitting on the bench for most of it. That's 2/3's of their potential offense.

Why does he keep chucking them up? I get that he can hit a few but why not keep driving?
Because to drive into bigs you need someone to kick to. Daniels was on the bench. Giffey is cold as a corpse. And an interior pass? We saw Nolan and Brimah and Kromah in the first half, right?

IOW, there's nowhere to go until Daniels and Boatright get back out there

To be fair I think its mostly a combination of both.

I hear you but throwing up contested 3s aren't the answer. I can only hope they continue to create fouls, which I think they can. Should be a great ending.

That UK-Utah championship game in 1998 UK down 41-31 at half, won 78-69...that was the "Comeback Cats"...let's see if this year's "Cardiac Cats" can do their thing.

I hate to agree with timscoochie, but I applaud the refs thus far on how theyre calling the inside game. A ton of plays that could be fouls in real time rather easily, but replay shows a clean block and the refs are calling almost everything in that facet of the game right.

Ugh, so many wide open 3s that they cannot hit or that they pass up (no idea what Napier was thinking there). Giffey was something like 50% from 3 and he can't buy one. If UConn keeps shooting like this and playing sloppy, they aren't going to win.

I agree, I think it has been decent do far.
