Need Old school FF help (1 Viewer)

I teach tech classes at a middle school. Started a fantasy football league with students after school for fun. I don't want to use a website for it. I want the students to calculate scores the way we used to back in the days. Was curious if anyone held onto old spreadsheets or methods for running a league like this? The students will be making their own spreadsheets and doing the math the hard way.

If this goes smooth we may transition to creating a website as I teach web design classes as well. TIA

What's the mystery? A TD is 6 points. Player A scored 2 TDs. Do the ####### math.

Fantastic. That was my thinking.

Just curious if anyone that was commish held onto their old spreadsheets for running a league. It's 20 kids. They can do their own math but I have to manage it all and I'm being lazy.

You should look up a poster on this forum named TC Cannon. He's kind of an FF Legend, and has been doing FF with kids for a long time.

Search for a thread titled: 'Youth Fantasy Football' or something like that, and you'll find what you're looking for.

Good Luck!

ETA: The guy's name is TC Cannon, he posts as TC.

I bumped his Thread to Page 1 for you.

Really I think the only thing that's complex is generating the schedule and there are websites for that. For maximum learning, I think pencil and paper with as much as possible is the way to go.

My goal is to have them create a spreadsheet that handles everything in the league from stats to records to standings. They will add to it every week until they could each function as a commish in the 90s. Next step will be designing their own website of the league using one of our web design programs like dreamweaver. Not confident has this plays out but we're excited to try. I'm lucky to teach at a tech based school.

Sounds cool, hope this works out for you.

Monday morning USA Today and spreadsheets were all we had at one point
