Need Silent (kinda) Auction Strategy Help! (1 Viewer)

So I got suckered into a draft tomorrow night - need help on devising a strategy...

16 Teams, 14 roster spots (10 starters - 4 bench).

1 QB, 2RB, 3WR, 1TE, 1 K, 1 Team D, I Flex (Can be QB, RB, WR, K or D)

Scoring is very QB friendly 14 QB's scored over 300 pts in comparision to 5 RB's and 6 WR's....

Live draft - $600 cap - each GM writes down the name of the player he wants in each round and brings the card up to the commish. If the player wasn't on anyone elses card you get that player for the round minimum ($100 for 1st round, 75 for 2nd round etc).

If a player was chosen, the bidding process ensues - the losing bidders go into a supplemental round after the current round is complete.

So what's my play here? Do I target QB's for the first two rounds then go for best player available after that? If so, do I target the Aaron Rogers/Drew Brees types (which multiple GM's will go after) or do I target the Romo's and Schaubs (less competition from other GM's which may mean I save $ in those rounds)....

Here is an example of the top 2 guys from each category QB - Rodgers (561 pts) and Brees (502 pts), RB - CJ (493 pts) and MJD (352 pts), WR - Austin (349 pts) and DeSean Jackson (346 pts).

Scoring is a modified performance type - basically you get extra points for long scores but no bonus points for 100+ yard games or 300+ passing etc...

All Help will be VERY appreciated! Thanks!!!
