i have the top 4 wr ranked as follows...s smith, fitz, cj, and holt.....s smith is a freak with his speed, quickness and cutting ability. i believe this combination makes him number 1...fitz has the speed and size and system makes him the number 2 wr for me(barring injury again to warner)...cj has similar skills to fitz but with palmer coming off injury have him #3....and holt, many have him #1 this yr but i cant see it..change in system is the main reason having him #4 unless i can be convinced otherwise....what is ur top 4 and why.....

I think fitz is being overrated this year. Assuming boldin is healthy all year, which is a big assumption, I think he scores more points, at least in PPR leagues. Im a Fitz keeper owner, and it seemed to be that boldin was always the number one option in ARI. More looks, more catches when in the game. I'm no ARI homer, and I only saw their national games, but I think Fitz catches 15 to 20 less balls this year. A healthly Boldin, IMO, is a better PPR player. I hope not, but I think it.

I still haven't finalized my top 5... there are alot of unknowns that I'm waiting to get cleared up... but... I do know I won't be ranking Steve Smith at my #1 WR...

How dare I... look at 05 and 04... the #1 WR in my league has been a Panther WR...

05 and 04 are exactly why I think Steve Smith won't be #1... I think he will be better than Steve Smith of 03, when Mushin and him BOTH played... Mushin took 54 catches that year... and Steve Smith as like 15th that year... now, I don't think he's that far down.. but I do think he's outside of my top 5 at WR this year...

Again, just my opinion...

I'm not as worried about the coaching change and system change for Holt this year... actually I applaud it... I never like Martz... and I think Holt will be better off...

So... I did do some quick research because of your question... based on my leagues scoring (6pt TD, 1/10rec, 1/10rush, NO PPR)

Looking at the Top 5 WR's from 01-05... I checked to see how many were in the top 5 the year prior....

2001 - 4 members of the 2000 Top 5 made it

2002 - 3 members of the 2001 Top 5 made it

2003 - 2 members of the 2002 Top 5 made it

2004 - 1 member of the 2003 Top 5 made it

2005 - 0 members of the 2004 Top 5 made it

How crazy is that?

I'll post my top 4 as I get it figured out...
