I haven't played fantasy baseball for a few years, just got back in this year. Took over a dynasty team in a head to head league. Just received a trade offer of Aaron Hill for BJ Upton. What factors should I consider? At first glance it looks like a good trade....thx

Age, potential, current talent level, positional scarcity, whether this gives you a shot to contend this year or future years.Because Upton is a couple years younger and much more potential upside I would keep him. I also think the change of scenery could help.
There are a lot of factors. #1 in this case is position scarcity, and Hill plays a premium and rather shallow position. Who is your current 2Bman? How mush better is Hill than your guy? Who are your OFs, can you afford to lose an Upton? If this was Justin I would say no way but I don't buy the change of scenery helping BJ all that much. Tropicana is not hitter friendly but neither is Turner which is 2nd worst for triples, only slightly better than Tropicana for HRs. Plus Upton had great coaching and support in Tampa, it isn;t going to get better in Atlanta. Two years younger? Yeah, elite upside? I say that ship has sailed. On paper these guys will produce similar numbers, Hill being much better for an average league. But because Hill plays 2B I'd make the deal, Upton family is full of underachievers.
