I am put in mind of the good people of Pompeii.  They thought Mt. Vesuvius dormant, no longer capable of eruptions, and look what happened to them.  Our Otis is dormant for a small bit of time and folks forget to respect what he is capable of.  They even doubt the memories of their elders as to what it was like when he was active.  The youngsters convince themselves that the stories have grown with time beyond the reality. Myths and legends they say just before being overwhelmed by magma.  Not me.  I keep my eyes open.  Otis' magma is not going to get me. 

Campi Flegrei is reawakening... but still no New Otis.
