Nervously awaiting Andre Johnson's MRI.... (1 Viewer)

Texans Forums

Not one mention about this in their main forum, it's not like the state of Texas had their radio off and our one poster was the only guy tuned to that station. Hate to say it but you might have all fallen for the good old "I heard it on the radio" trick.

The fallout here is gonna be something. :pickle:

Anyone else in the Houston area tuned in to sports radio?
I just logged into two Houston Sports radio shows. One has the Jim Rome show and the other station is discussing possible RB's the Texans might examine in next years draft and have made no mention of AJ. My guess is this story has no legs and his MRI results are no known.
Right now 790 the Sports Animal in Houston is discussing the fact that if the Texans can beat the Colts it will be time to have playoff talk. No mention of AJ being out and than I doubt they would be having a playoff discussion if AJ is out.

Let's hope so.Please be ok AJ, please.

First, this is not a stupid thread. Often we get first word on issues in threads just like this... that said, we need to take this information fwiw - unconfirmed rumor at this point. But that doesnt mean it holds no value.

let's all hope AJ will be ok, regardless.

If not a sniff of it is on all the main Texans message boards, where hundreds of people are gathered 24-7 and all have the same radio stations as our posters "Friend" then I dunno what to tell you. Our poster was smart by calling it his "friend" so he can seperate himself from the lynching that is forthcoming. (I do think it's possible he has a friend who told him this, hopefully our other posters will be as understanding). :wall:

don't want him out for the season, but if he could miss this week i wouldn't mind (play him in both leagues)!

I just want to echo what others have posted, there is no mention of AJ on Houston sports radio or the Texans' major board.

Megan Manfull says she will post what she knows as soon as she knows it on chron.com Kubiak will probably also address it in his weekly presser, though I expect Manfull to break the news first.

Guess I've grown kind of immune to it but I do remember how amused I was the first time I heard it.

Sep 17 Megan Manfull, of the Houston Chronicle, reports Houston Texans WR Andre Johnson (knee) will undergo an MRI Monday, Sept. 17. Johnson said he expects to be day-to-day after straining his posterior cruciate ligament Week 2.

Saw another service that AJ is day-to-day.
And I believe this was the same service that "broke" the news about Ben leaving the field prior to the game yesterday.
Yeah. I could care less what they say because they know no more than we do at this point. You know where they got that from? From Kubiak. He said that.
Huh?
I saw that report too, but it was from yesterday. There has been no word today about the results of his MRI.

Hey guys, let's keep this thread on target. WAY too much toolish stuff going on in here. It's ok to pass along unconfirmed rumor but let's not get carried away. Please keep this on track for everyone out there impatiently waiting for word on AJ's status. Thanks.

The service listened to Kubiak after the game. Kubiak said Andre was 'day-to-day' and so they are saying it. They know nothing yet.
