I'm surprised that this hasn't been mentioned yet on these forums (I did a few searches to make sure but I might have missed something).

Basically it's a baseball sim like Goal Line Blitz, except IMO much more promising. It's still a beta but Season 2 is about under way and I'm literally addicted atm. It's a lot of fun and new features being added constantly.

For those who don't know what type of Sim this is, it's basically a game where you create your own player and train him in specific stats. No one knows exactly what stat does what yet, but there are a lot of theories and different builds working out.

If you have any questions or need help getting on a team, just PM me and I'll help you out.

There are no pitches to develop. You have Arm Strength and Accuracy.

There is no thought into building. You simply train everything as high as possible. Skill training is on a timer. Each level adds an extra ~12 minutes of time to train the skill. All you need is cash from your team and a training script and you will have a decent player in no time, or you can buy a bunch of achievements to unlock gear if you have cash to burn on this game.

Experience comes from training and from reaching certain in game milestones, like X# of walks. Most of the in game achievements were not tracked.

New features? Like what? Season 2 is about starting? You could say season 1 just ended and the players still have not been released from expiring contracts.

I'm letting people in the forum know about it and offering someone to ask questions on how to get started and help them get on a team. Since it looks like you play, you should know that it isn't always very straight forward for new people to get started or easy for new players to find a team. I can help them with that. Also I believe this does need it's own thread as it's a very fun game that deserves discussing.

See, this is what I wanted. Discussion. Yes the game ahs been in beta for ~2 months now so not everything is perfect and obviously the first season is a learning experience on what to expect.Pitching is a bit of an enigma on what stats are best, people are focusing on Accuracy and Arm Strength thinking those ar ethe only 2 stats that help like you said, however Confidence, Awareness, and Stamina I believe are just as important. I'm thinking that will show to be true next season especially now that pickoffs are implemented. Once Managers and Player Tactics are in the game, it's going to be a lot deeper experience and more strategic. Essentially a lot of the fun in GLB for me was figureing out the mystery of what stats did what. This has the same feel as it's still a work in progress. Obviously it's not as polished, but in 2 months it's come a long ways and I enjoy it.

MMOBaseball is a little bit different type of a game than OOTP, but you should try it and Baseball Mogul before saying that.
