Only Gronkowski wouldn't get a holding or PI call on that play, lol.
well, that's the real story here.Only Gronkowski wouldn't get a holding or PI call on that play, lol.
They are a lot of things (cheaters), but I've never considered them thugs (sans Rodney Harrison).Thugtriots....
You're ruining the narrative, apparently. They are a lot of things (cheaters), but I've never considered them thugs (sans Rodney Harrison).
Until now... That was really a thug move by gronkowskiThey are a lot of things (cheaters), but I've never considered them thugs (sans Rodney Harrison).
Sorry... Just trying to be fair when considering the Patriots...You're ruining the narrative, apparently.
Oh, no doubt...Until now... That was really a thug move by gronkowski
I don't think anyone is arguing that it was a thug move, although suspension is unlikely. But there are a lot of thugs teams in the NFL if one thug move by a player makes the whole team 'coached to be thugs.'Until now... That was really a thug move by gronkowski
Don't even watch the NFL much this year. Been watching the CFB playoff show all afternoon. See this game is on local here in Charlotte and hey, let's watch it. Third play I see is that cluster#### of officiating. What a sham this league is.So let me see if I understand this correctly. Two NE players took cheap shots on the same play -- Gronk will likely be suspended for his -- and the result is that Buffalo loses 15 yards.
Nice product you're putting out there, NFL.
Agreed... But from a pats player, it was surprising.I don't think anyone is arguing that it was a thug move, although suspension is unlikely. But there are a lot of thugs teams in the NFL if one thug move by a player makes the whole team 'coached to be thugs.'
NFL knows where their bread is buttered.IvanKaramazov said:So let me see if I understand this correctly. Two NE players took cheap shots on the same play -- Gronk will likely be suspended for his -- and the result is that Buffalo loses 15 yards.

Outside of the non-call on the holding and PI, everything after the play was over was perfectly fine officiating. Penalties on both teams offset, like it always has. Penalties against officials is applied between downs, which is why it was 1st and 25 for the Bills. If you watched the Chief/Jets game, same situation happened and the penalty was applied between downs there too.ConstruxBoy said:Don't even watch the NFL much this year. Understand that I'm talking about strict interpretation of the rules here, not who 'deserved it' more.Outside of the non-call on the holding and PI, everything after the play was over was perfectly fine officiating. And somehow I just wrote a paragraph defending NFL officials. I officially need a drink.
I never understand how 2 penalties from one team is offset by just 1 penalty from the other team. Makes no sense.Outside of the non-call on the holding and PI, everything after the play was over was perfectly fine officiating. Penalties on both teams offset, like it always has. Penalties against officials is applied between downs, which is why it was 1st and 25 for the Bills.
