Bad call. It looked like a hit to the head in real time, but it wasn't. Can't challenge unfortunately for Bill. How is that a penalty?
Even the announcers thought it was a personal foul in real time. Maybe all calls should be reviewable, keeping the current limit of 3.1984 call - apparently they knew what he was thinking.
Hoodie has advocated for this for years.Even the announcers thought it was a personal foul in real time. Maybe all calls should be reviewable, keeping the current limit of 3.
Always an asterisk...I expect games in Miami to be a house of horrors, but the phantom penalty ended up in 3 points for MIA when the Pats would have had the ball at the Dolphins 43 yard line instead. Plenty of game left for the Pats to play mediocre for that play not to matter. But one to footnote potentially for later if the game ends up close.
They should wear these all the timeLove love love the throwbacks.
This could be Tua's final half at starting QB for Miami. Everyone is jumping off the get Tua an oline bandwagon.Tuas a moron.
Exactly what I wanted folks to think aboutOf all people why would MoP come up with a thread title that reminds people of Tuna Mac and Cheese ?
"It's a trap"
And then a drop on the snap, recovery by Phillips.Excellent throw by Jones to Myers.
Their defense will be better, with a LB and Dugger expected back. OTOH they won't be facing Tua.Patriots looking like they might be a quick 1 and done in the Playoffs next week, not sure who they face

Mac Jones did well today, except for the int and the fumble. He also threw into coverage a few times. I was actually more impressed with his 1st game vs Miami when he was pressured constantly, but got the ball out just before getting hit on multiple occasions. Teams know he makes quick decisions so they may be blitzing less.
With a very good defense and running game, the Patriots could easily win game one. It'll be either @CIN or @BUF. They should be competitive in every game.If the measuring stick is the ability to advance deep into the playoffs, I'd say you're dead wrong.
If the Pats win more than one playoff game this year I'll be amazed. In a good way, but still.
I've always hated you. That is all. They can beat the Bills
The measuring stick for a rookie QB isn’t usually going far in the playoffs. That they’re in them at all is success. If the measuring stick is the ability to advance deep into the playoffs, I'd say you're dead wrong.

And also Burrow and Herbert will be in Year 3, Mahomes can still take an average team and make them a SB contender, I think they need more than just a better WR and a LB, Mac Jones is going to have to improve light years in a quick period of time. He can manage a game just fine and will continue to do so, good poise in the pocket and trusts his coaches, you can tell by how he runs the offense on the field, he listens.Agreed...Pats took a big step forward this year, but they are still one more good offseason from being a legit threat in the playoffs...they just don't have enough weapons in the passing game and they need help at LB.

But there's going to be a huge talent gap there for some time.
