New England Patriots vs Pittsburgh Steelers (5 Viewers)

The only thing that will salvage tonight is a Buccos come-from-behind win!
:goodposting: :excited:
Wow, the DHB of the Pirates ties it up! :hifive:
:lmao: Sadly I care much more about a Buccos win tonight than I do a Steelers win.
That's not sad at all. Polanco is the pits though.
Yup I really hope he figures it out. He's got so much talent but seemingly a 2 cent brain.

Sophomore slump and all of that, he'll be fine IMO.

Awesome. I'm playing against the Ben and Antonio and the didn't do enough to win the game but scored that meaningless TD in garbage time to #### me in fantasy football. I would always pick the Steelers over my fantasy team, but this TD didn't help the Steelers at all :kicksrock:

Steelers are still in good shape and should close the quarter with a 2 & 2 record. The Patriots look to be 2 & 2 at the quarter as well.

Great first game, kudos to the Steelers for keeping it close when it really should have been a NE romp. Reminds me of the SD game for us last year, which came within a play or two of being a demolition, as opposed to a solid win.

Pretty evenly matched game other than a few goofs by Scobee and DHB. Pittsburgh is looking like a contender this year. Pats looked good but not angry dominant run up the score good. I expected more.

I'm going to write a letter to judge Berman to tell him that Antonio brown trick play should count as -7 rushing yards

Fun game for FF...not for people who like great defense.

May repeat in my PPR league this year. Combo of Brown and Edelman looks to be nasty good.

Well tonight really sucked balls :yucky:

They have a habit of heating up after a month or so (maybe they are saving all the hate for the Indy game?). Give time for the OL to gel more as well - I was really impressed by how well they held up this year.

Man, do I wish I had a piece of the Steelers offense. They are going to be in a shootout every single week with that defense, and when Bell and Bryant come back they're going to be explosive. Lot of fantasy points going to be scored in their games like they were last night.

Hey, points can start coming into play as early as the 7th playoff tiebreak.

Good game. Meaning it was entertaining. Not a particular good game defensively.

I think the Steelers might have won if they followed these normal practices:

1) Make makeable field goals.

2) Take like timeouts and stuff.

3) Not leave that big guy with the 8 and the 7 on his jersey completely uncovered.

#hottakes

The Steelers certainly shot themselves in the foot many times - otherwise would have had an opportunity to win the game. You simply can't have that many self inflicted wounds and expect to win against NE.
