Gets pretty addictive. Thinking of which, I'm away from the computer until 3am, and the iPhone won't play the game, sooo...Tick or Guderian, if our new game fires up today, pm me the general starting points so I can obsess on my first move. Plz.
 
I understand some people here have questioned my dominance at this game, and that's understandable. I might only be good at the europe map, for example, or I might be the best player at FBG, but only average among other warlight players. So I entered my second heads up tournament a ways back to see where I stood.

I've only ever completed two tournaments at warlight, but I am currently 2-0 in outright winning them. Maybe it's a fluke, maybe I'm the best that's ever played. It's hard to say, but the evidence is racking up.

I finally figured out why you're so excited about being in the lead in the first game of a team tournament. You've never beaten me heads up. But I take it as a great sign of respect that your team's strategy was to have tick attack me and use an abandon, then have gaspumper attack me until we all but knocked him out, then for you to get all your armies together and attack me in the exact same spot. I'm flattered both by the implication and by how important it seems to be to you.

I finally figured out why you're so excited about being in the lead in the first game of a team tournament. You've never beaten me heads up. But I take it as a great sign of respect that your team's strategy was to have tick attack me and use an abandon, then have gaspumper attack me until we all but knocked him out, then for you to get all your armies together and attack me in the exact same spot. You're funny. And you're not God's Gift to Warlight. Sorry if that bugs you.And :lol: at our strategy being based on you. Ask Tecumseh or Steelerbill how they feel about that. Sorry you didn't do very well, probably hurt your teammates. Maybe you can learn from the game once you look at the history.

...as if we had a strategy.You and I were next to each other, so we fought. I got lucky by using an abandon just as you attacked with your biggest army of the game to that point (maybe for the entire game). This game was all Guderian after that - Gaspumper and I were in the stone ages (like you, most likley) for most of it - I only had to hold off Bill from the Philippines.

So is that game over? Team C beat Team F?I'm really enjoying these team games, other than the fact that sometimes they go really slowly. There hasn't been a move all day in either of our games so far.

Yes, I've only tried it 15 or so times but am concluding my strategy isn't the one. I've been landgrabbing like crazy but the boundaries are then too weak to defend when the enemy comes on like a wave.But I fear shoring up one or two strongholds will allow the coalition to grab so much land I'll be facing 150 armies per turn to my 35-40.

Do you mean level 3 or the one that used to be Challenge 2 and is now called INSANE? If the latter, yeah, it's frustrating. Some really good tips from Gas and to a lesser extent me in this thread.

Yeah, the "Insane" one. I've tried following the tips, but I'm not getting anywhere. It's ridiculous.

Unpossible. Bfred is the best Warlight player EVER! Just listen to him, he's a legend in his own mind.
